Neteyams death hit hard the most. Just hearing her shrill screams we're haunting and I could literally feel it in my bones. This movie was so good with the visuals and action.

I cried in cinemas when the humans were hunting down the Tulkun spirit sister and the calf. It’s just so slow and painful to watch that overtime it makes you realise what we are doing to Earth right now. For Neteyam’s death too, just hearing Neytiri mourn over the loss of his oldest son really puts the perspective of a strong parent

Something that symbolized neteyams death was when Jake was holding the tracker they use on the Tulkun and says “tell them if they get hit with this, they’re marked for death” and then Neteyam is the one to take the tracker from Payakan and drop it

At least that’s what I felt foreshadowed it when I first saw the film on opening night. I’ve seen the movie 5 times and Neteyams death and funeral hits me hard everytime

I felt Neteyam was gonna die just minutes into the movie. When Neteyam was injured in the raid after Lo'ak wanted to take part in it and then after Jake saved them, he told Lo'ak "you realize you almost got your brother killed?". Then, through the movie, Neteyam ALWAYS took the fall for Lo'ak. Even when they fought the Metkayina kids bcs of Lo'ak, even Jake said "you've got to stop taking the blame for this knucklehead" (or smth along those lines... and then the tracker scene really sealed the deal for me. I knew he was gonna die but even then I was in denial 😭😭😂😂 I hope it's not the last we see of him.... heck if he's brought back even if it erases the character's growth due to consequences... idc I want Neteyam back lol rant over

Kiri is definitely my favorite character, she's funny and so cute She suffers alot through this movie tho so I hope the third one gives her a little more happiness. I would enjoy an avatar movie without any conflict, just the world and relaxing. But I guess it's impossible since people already say the first and the second movie (even with action) are boring
