There is no imax version. This movie is playing open matte on both IMAX and Dolby Cinema. This isn’t some imax expanded ratio nonsense.

Not 1.90.1.....The Movie was natively shot in 16:9 and Imax theatres will show it in the same aspect ratio.

Now since it's clear the Sully son Lo'ak and her are gonna be the next power couple for the franchise going forward, I'm so curious from a spec-bio standpoint about the kind of 'mixed-race' Na'vi kids they'll have in the future sequels (we all know heterosexual characters always have kids in american movies), seeing how he is already an avatar hybrid with his 5 fingers.

I got… Tickets for Friday at my fav local theater in non 3D on Dec 16 Tickets for non 3D Dolby Vision in a further out theater for Dec 17 Tickets for 3D IMAX at a different theater on my bday Dec 19. Oh baby I can’t wait!!! Watching with different folks on all 3 😅
