One of the better videos I've seen regarding cutting the metal for the window. Just finished installing a bonded window. Used a sheet metal shear, not a nibbler ;no doubt it would have made a much nicer cut!

No sealant at all? Does that specific window come with a perfect sealing strip?

Yes it does. The CRL has the gasket applied from the factory (Motion also comes with a gasket but you have to stick it on). Other brands (like AMA or VWD) are your in and require a different install method.

@@AVCRIG ok great thanks for getting back to me. Still waiting for my van to arrive (ordered in October) but will definitely get these. A jig saw creates too many potential rusty shards.

Hi, do you pre dill CR Laurence for scews? Also, does all 4 corners fit perfectly with the van cutout? No need to cut small the top right corner? Thanks

We do on the pill window but not on the edges glass windows. The pre drill is mainly to avoid ripples in the metal. With the factory fit front you don’t see any edges so it’s unnecessary.

What is the tube wax for?

It helps the screw bite in smoother. It’s nice but not necessary.
