This is the best rendition of this song I have ever heard, and I believe I have heard them all. This one has heart, soul and a beautiful voice. I also love the acoustics of the church, it's perfect for this. When it comes right to it, it's the last "San-TA MA-a-ria!" that really makes this song stand out. It gives the song a heart that I have only heard in old Italian songs.

This is beautiful. Elsewhere on KZfaq you can find 'Ave Maria, Gomez', sung by 11-year-old Amira Willighagen. It has been described as 'life-changing'. I agree.

La emoción es mía cada vez que oigo e interpreto esta música celestial de la que hice mi propia versión a piano para poder pregonera a los 4 vientos. William: cada persona que lo oye se sorprende ante este ave maría que les era desconocido y automáticamente pasa a ser su favorito!!! enhorabuena por haber tenido un padre tan Grande!!! Un fortísimo abrazo!!!

+alcaudetense Gracias por tus amables palabras. Mi padre era un gran guitarista clasico que aprendio su arte desde muy pequeno en Madrid. Tuvo una carrera grande y compuso muchas piezas preciosas. Si quieres te puedo dar mas informacion sobre el. Tienes una forma de cantar que hace que los vellos se pongan de punta. Maravilloso. Gracias de nuevo.

Realmente el Ave María más hermoso que he escuchado o tocado. En cada nota hay gran emoción, hermosa línea melódica y armonía perfecta. La primera vez que lo escuché fue en ensayo de coro y la directora dijo: "este es el Ave María más bello que hay y sobre todo está en español". Sin duda no se equivocó. Que gran regalo de parte de el maestro Gómez !! Originalmente fue escrita para guitarra y voz?

Quel bonheur et quel honneur d'avoir une réponse, aussi rapidement d'une artiste telle que vous. Merci. Il y a quelques mois j'assistais à un concert de plusieurs Ave Maria. Celui de William Gomez m'a profondément touché. Ce n'est pas seulement un des plus beaux, c'est le plus beau ! J'ai félicité la chanteuse et lui ai demandé des informations sur William Gomez. Elle n'a pas pu m'en donner. Elle ne savait pas. J'ai cherché sur internet et je n'ai pas trouvé d'informations sur Gomez, mais j'ai trouvé plusieurs interprétations. La vôtre n'est pas seulement une des plus belles, c'est également la plus belle. Merci, merci. J'ai aussi envoyé un message au fils de William Gomez qui vous a félicité. Il ne m'a pas répondu. Peut-être que son adresse n'est plus la bonne. Je voulais lui demander d'écrire la vie et les œuvres de son père sur Wikipedia afin que tout le monde sache qui il est et cela également pour les générations futures. C'est un devoir de mémoire. I have listened to every other rendition of this on KZfaq and I keep coming back to this one. In my opinion, this is the best! The vocal quality is superb and this is sung by someone obviously singing from the heart rather than by someone trying to mimic singing from the heart. As I have commented before, I would like to hear more from Fuensanta Rey!

alcaudetense The only “mistakes”, if you want to call the that, are perhaps not holding the notes in measures 10, 22, 35, and 39 their full value without diminuendo but those are insignificant compared to the quality and power of your voice and the feeling and inspiration you project.

A mi simplemente me parece un ángel de Voz. La de Elina Garanca también es espectacular una cosa no quita la otra. Yo sólo soy un simple aficionado. What a strong range from bottom to top! Cathedral venues deliver a delayed reverb that can be disorienting to singers, but Ms.Rey manages to end the sound of phrases early enough that the reverb finishes off the phrase without overlapping frequencies. J'ai écouté ATTENTIVEMENT une dizaine de versions celle-ci est une des 3 meilleures avec celle de Garança (notamment), d'autres seraient très belles, malheureusement les prises de sons sont exécrables.
