Thank you for posting this. We sang this song for the first time as a BYU men’s choir in 1989. Mack Wilberg was director then. I LOVED this song! It’s stuck with me and I can still remember my 2 tenor part 30+ years later. ❤

Beautiful voices praise the Lord never stop singing. I regret every day that I stopped singing it is a gift to sing dont lose your gift. Sing in God's name with the voice he gave you Amen and blessings to you All

Incredible ensemble sound! The last few measures of this performance are absolute musical perfection. Starting at 5:25 till the end the bass and baritones create a perfectly blended foundation resulting in a beautiful harmonic masterpiece. Absolutely magical ! First amazing performance of this piece I could find on youtube!

This is Franz Biebl’s (1906-2001) rendition. This work was composed during the 1960’s for a firemen choir. Biebl was a POW during WWII. And this particular version was brought to America by the renowned male ensemble Chanticleer. This is a gem in contemporary choral music.
