The band's current lineup consists of vocalist M. Shadows, rhythm guitarist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, bassist Johnny Christ, and drummer Jimmy "the rev" Sullivan. However, in 28 December 2009 their drummer (Jimmy "the Rev" Sullivan) passed away 😢

Their current lineup doesn’t feature Jimmy, their current lineup features brooks, the lineup in this video obviously featured the Rev but that’s not their current lineup.

This whole show is awesome, definitely recommend unholy confessions which was like their first true breakthrough song or second heartbeat, both performances are great. Beast and the harlot is another great one too. Anyway nice reaction

Love me some A7x especially with the Rev (RIP) on drums! They’re still good but not really the same without the Rev 😢. I liked that you enjoyed it, rock on 🤘🏻 Edit: Bat Country is my favourite A7x song!

Also... (At least for me), a musical journey cannot be considered complete without listening to "The greatest show on earth (with Richard Dawkins)" from Nightwish and "until eternity" from Blackbriar 😁

I've seen a ton of concerts, and Avenged Sevenfold's set design during the Nightmare tour, when they were opening for Disturbed, is probably my favorite.

You should watch the official video for this song! It's a flip side to the Nightmare video - both dealing with the afterlife and what may be waiting. Also the last single with the Rev, and first without him. In the Afterlife vid Rev has a tarantula crawling on him, despite hating spiders, "because the fans will love it!" In the Nightmare vid it crawls over his drum kit.

The strings are pre-recorded but it's played by one of the guitarists, Zacky (the one who's in really prim-and-proper shirt-and-tie outfit). He's (I think) famously a multi-instrumentalist for the band.
