It's his voice layered but live it was the rev doing the harsh back vocals during some songs.

not exactly the reasoning behind the album title but... points for creativity lmao!! its actually a reference to the book of revelations in the bible, the seventh trumpet being the last trumpet to sound at the end of the world

I love this song, early example that they didnt afraid to experiment on song structure and being "soft" Try to listen again with all the context and the first part becomes really fun

M shadows does every vocal up until the self titled album. and after that all albums with the exception of small portions on Nightmare and Life is but a Dream

I'm pretty sure The Rev does some screams on a couple songs before the self-titled album. I think Chapter Four has him on it. And I think he did backups on the album version of Beast and The Harlot. But yeah he never sang lead until the self-titled album
