This song was written for the Call of Duty series, that’s why it’s confusing for those who don’t know

The scream was completely from M. Shadows and not from anyone else

"9-3-5" refers to Group 935 from the Call of Duty Zombies Storyline of the Aether story. This song is talking about how some characters were wanting the power to control the Undead that group 935 created after finding an extremely dangerous element they call "Element 115" to turn the tides of the great World War in the 1930's-1940's. The "little girl" refers to Group 935's leader Ludvig Maxis' daughter Samantha Maxis who was corrupted by the Aether when she got control of the Zombies herself. The piano tune at the start of the 2nd solo is actually the original Black Ops Themed song "Damned" by Kevin Sherwood, who would later create a bunch more zombies themed music for Treyarch. This song is the most well known songs throughout Call of Duty Zombies as it has never left us since Black Ops 1 and has had countless other takes of the original song made by the original creator.

Fun fact that someone has probably pointed out already: they wrote this song in 4 days!

This song is the Easter egg you can find in the Call of the Dead map for call of duty zombies. The song incorporates a bunch of lore and an amazing theme into this kickass zombie slaying song. You’ll have to either play the games or watch the Zombies Timeline to understand the song\lyrics

I'll break down the story of the song for you. It's from Call of Duty: Zombies. This song was featured on a map called Call of the Dead. Here goes: A Nazi scientist named Dr. Edward Richtofen worked for Research Group 935, one of Hitler's chosen sectors to study an element called 115. 115 comes from fallen meteorites and resurrects the dead, turning them into zombies. The group's head scientist Dr. Ludvig Maxis intended to weaponize these zombies and create a functional fighting force to turn the tide of World War II so the German forces wouldn't have to risk casualties to conquer Europe. Richtofen wants to overthrow Dr. Maxis, so he locks Maxis in a faulty teleporter and traps him on the moon. Samantha Maxis, his daughter, becomes an unintended test subject and gains control of the zombies, having them massacre thousands. Richtofen makes an attempt to switch bodies with Samantha and use her consciousness to achieve his end goal of world domination, killing the Nazis along with everyone else. This song was written from the perspective of Edward. A7X threw it together in 4 days during a break in their Nightmare Tour in 2011. It's the first song Arin Ilejay played drums on. You'll probably like their follow-up Call of Duty tracks. They have one for every numbered Black Ops game and threw them on an EP called Black Reign. "Unholy Confessions", "Remenissions", "Chapter 4", and "Clairvoyant Disease" are all good songs from that album. You probably won't believe it is Avenged Sevenfold when you first hear it.

BTW: you didn't understand the song, because this one was created for a map for the "zombie mode" of Call of Duty: Black Ops (M.shadows is fan of this franchise). So the lyrics are very related to the story of this gamemode...

This music was on a map on call of duty black ops 1 called call of the dead. These words talks about zombies and daddy's little girl is samantha and maxis from what i know and also the writing on the walls cuz Samantha does that sometimes. Im not ready to die im surviving is because of the zombies. So many great songs like my paradolia and 115.

They’re hating on them too much 😂 The song goes hard, it’s metal. The lead singer is M Shadows, he’s actually got an amazing voice, one of the greatest modern metal voices by far. In their 2013 Hail To The King album, his voice correlates to a very powerful tone, basically adapting a Broadway voice

The number 935 in this line refers to Group 935, a research group Richtofen was part of. The line itself refers to him controlling Tank, Nikolai, and Takeo, whose memories he had already wiped. Richtofen planned to control them to aid his own survival. "You can't break me. Crush the fears of yesterday. You can't save me, Barriers our trust will fade" Referring to a discovery by Richtofen that he dubbed the “trust barrier”, which would stop test subjects from accepting him as their leader during his attempts to control them. The lyric "Damned" is referring to the piano riff you hear further in the song. It is from the song Damned by Kevin Sherwood. "Let em bleed, Make me crawl. To daddy's little girl to read the writings on the wall" Maxis' daughter, Samantha’s, writing can be seen on the walls of many in-game maps. The line also plays on the fact the idiom “The writing on the wall” which suggests a portent of doom or misfortune, originating from the story of Belshazzar’s feast in the book of Daniel. The piano riff again being the song "Damned" is also the zombies main menu music for the Black Ops series. To understand this song you have to understand the zombies storyline. If you would like to understand this song I suggest watching a Black Ops Zombies storyline movie (which is just all the cutscenes put together in the correct order).

935 is the group who created zombies by experimenting on them and 115 is an element that shouldnt be in the wrong hands. The zombies started cause an little girl samantha maxis didnt lisened to her dad and tried to pet an zombie dog. Them richtofen trapped em inside cause he wanted to kill em but emma got into the teleporter and escaped only her dad died.

Someone else tried to explain but didn’t do a very noob friendly job at it. Basically 935 is just the name of the main group of playable characters in Call of Duty Zombies.

This song was written for the Call of Duty zombies games. In this song, it basically details the events that takes place in one of the maps, called Moon, in which one of the main characters is attempting to take control over the zombie hordes from a little girl, which he ultimately succeeds at and takes control of the zombies with the intent to destroy the world, which happens as missiles launch from the Moon, targeting Earth. This event devastates the Earth and nothing is the same ever again.

The song was made for call of duty zombies. A round based game where up to 4 players try to survive against increasingly difficult hordes of zombies. The song is from the perspective of the person controlling the zombies and survivors Aka the player.

The piano part is a sample of the original Call of Duty: Zombies song Damned by Kevin Sherwood, hence the second verse starting with emphasis on "Damned!". It played in the menu screen.

This is one of those songs people need to explain the context of it before you react to, lol. Or researching it a bit before listening. This song was made for the Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies series, so the lyrics are heavily reliant on the game's lore and story. It's an amazing song, musically speaking, but for full comprehension, you'd need to understand the game haha

Yeah this song was written as a special song you find in a call of duty: black ops zombies map. They also incorporated the zombies menu music into the solo. So yeah, it makes zero sense if you don’t know all that 😅 it’s a good song but definitely a bit more obscure for them.

"Loyalty is no match for power", yeah to me that means if you play COD Zombie with another players and they're down, its either you survive the wave or you all die. Like, loyalty means you will revive them but in this situation, loyalty wont save you to another round. Unless you have less Zs and your mates still alive, then yeah why not revive them.
