@@Qliphirot I love the poison but honestly there is a significant gap between WTF and the poison for me, I think WTF has higher highs and the poison has lower lows than WTF. Still love the poison and still listen to it many years later but it was never on the level of WTF for me

Remenissions has always been one of my favorite songs by them. That bridge section and how Matt uses his voice leading up to that bridge section is one of my favorite A7X parts

One of the best metalcore albums ever made. This album got me HOOKED on these guys as a teen, I joined their street team, plastered their logo everywhere, the works. The next album I loved just as much, and the one after that in 2008 led me to get their logo as part of my tattoo sleeve. Will always have such a special place for these guys, and it started with this album.

Great reaction guys, they have so much good music, since y’all really loved this I’d highly highly recommend checking out I won’t see you tonight pt1 or and all these will end from this same album, both are just fantastic, the solo on all things will end is absolutely absurd too and I won’t see you tnght pt 1 is one of their more emotional and epic songs. And all things will end is more in line with this song in terms of heaviness. The whole album is pretty much flawless front to back, to a single track that’s even remotely weak.

Maybe for the next Avenged Sevenfold song list, you can try listening to a song called (FICTION). The song was created by JIMMY SULVIVAN (The rev), the Avenged drummer. The song was written and finished exactly 3 days before (The rev) died. , and he also filled in for the vocals on the song!!! Thanks you

People will hear one song from A7X and just write them off, I have a friend like the one you guys mentioned who wouldn't even give them an honest listen. Totally disregarding the utter greatness they are as musicians. Synyster Gates, Rev, Z. Vengeance & M. Shadows are uniquely gifted artists. The Rev is my All-Time favorite drummer by far. Also, Waking the Fallen is one of my All-Time favortie albums. Their music takes on another level when you delve into the lyrics too. Waking the Fallen & Sounding the 7th Trumpet are masterpieces. City of Evil is very good too, but its the beginning of a very definite change in their style. I genuinely love to see how much you guys get into Remissions, I can listen to Waking the Fallen from start to finish. I hope you guys get into the album some more. waking the fallen is the 2nd album of avenged sevenfold and for me is the peak of their "metalcore" career, they are so different now than what they were back then and by no means I mean different as worst or anything like that, they've grown so much on every aspect, is wild

That is not the same singer. The Rev does almost all the growl lyrics in old avenged sevenfold and m shadows does all the clean lyrics Watch some live in the lbs videos you will see the Rev singing at times and that is definitely his voice

Nah they’re still awesome and the stage was fuckin great album, the stage is one of their best songs songs too. COE and WTF will always be my favs but they’re still a damn good band, the stage easily had some of their most impressive songwriting and technical stuff and it’s probably shadows best album lyrically.

@@romanramos4524 damn I can’t imagine doing that, city of evil is their best album and their songwriting is on another level on that record. Been a fan since WTF and think that record is near perfect but glad I continued listening to them. I mainly listen to stuff much heavier than A7X in general but I enjoy almost all their music outside of their hail to the king album which was mad generic. They’re extremely talented technically and as songwriters even if the stuff isn’t as heavy. You should check out their song “god hates us” from their nightmare album, a bunch of harsh vocals on it and it’s just as heavy as pretty much anything on waking the fallen, one of their heaviest songs in general

@@puppetmaster8551 i just think they evolved into a more polished sound, more pleasing to the masses ears. Their first two albums to me were more raw, the choruses on both albums hit hard. Definitely a talented band. Idk how anyone else feels about his vocals now but they come off annoying and whiny to me. But I'll check out your song recommendation, :)

@@romanramos4524 god hates us is definitely far more in line with their early stuff than anything else. I can agree with them going towards a more polished sound but with their last album the stage they definitely didn’t give a shit about the mainstream or getting it to the masses ears. It’s like a super long prog metal, shit the main single is 8:30 mins which is a total no-no for radio play, that album is really off the walls with some really unique sounds, also has a 15 minute album closer. I think technically they’re more skilled now and more polished musicians but after they went towards a far more mainstream generic route with hail to the king the did a complete U-turn and made an album that wasn’t good for mainstream appeal at all and I greatly appreciate it. Seems they’re now at the point in their career where they really don’t give a shit about the mainstream or radio play and are just gonna make what they want to and that gets alot of respect from me because what they’re doing is definitely not the route to make them the most money or get the most attention. Anyway I’m kinda rambling now but definitely check out god hates us, should like it since you’re a fan of their early stuff

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I think the only A7X song I like better is Radiant Eclipse. Same album. I would have to say my top 5: 1. Radiant Eclipse 2. Remenissions 3. A Little Piece of Heaven 4. The Stage 5. M.I.A.
