Yep, I been wondering about that suggested oil gas mix. You see BBF muffler fell apart? Maybe them two gaskets can help with that also by reducing the vibration alittle. Thanks for the info Raoul!

I also own mega Phantom 85v3 engines. Warning: remove the studs, chase the threads, add thread locktite and reinstall straight. Change the lock washers. Check your squish gap and adjust for tighter squish which will reduce heat and longer wear. Also chase and stud the exhaust

Hands down, the Phantom 85v3 is x2x that of the Avenger85. However, the Phantom needs to be gone thru to make reliable. Especially inner case cleaning, inner case flash and case seals

I have an avenger 85 and also exhaust problems. 5 gals fuel and pulled the top end off. Slight transfer champering intake scuffing and smoothing and exhaust polishing and raised the exhaust port by 0.4 mm. Also the exhaust had flash casting on the outside of it causing exhaust soaking flange from the monster pipe that welded onto the stock outlet. Filed on a flat sander smooth and also filed the exhaust flange at the port New gaskets I want my squish .65 to .8 tops and then rejet the carb

My phantom motor you see I did work on the cylinder head and the inside with sand paper and hand polished aluminum so no more piston rings snaging

As for the avenger 85 you need double exhaust manifold gaskets

@@RaoulDuke224 "Rings" snag? Unless I have an updated version, (doubt it) it has a single ring and unlike the phantom piston, it is a single ring. Also it resembles the hs272xp design

@@RaoulDuke224 I just did some transfer shaping. I believe it will really breath more efficiently but smoothing out the sharp ramping inside the transfers. Also it has only 22° blowdown so I raised the exhaust. 2mm
