(The reason it works well is because Avenger can do lots of burst, but not always enough to be lethal, and MAC is great at mopping up low health enemies.)

You just have to shoot at enemies from a distance, if they get close use your secondary. Also aim for their upper body so the shots don't hit the ground and blast you as well.
