Avengers Disintegration Scene - "Avengers Turns To Dust" Scene - After Thanos Snaps His Fingers Scene - Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Movie Clip
Thor: WHAT DID YOU DO?!
Steve Rogers: Where'd he go? Thor... where'd he go?
Bucky Barnes: Steve? [Bucky disintegrates into ashes.]
T'Challa: Up, General. Up! This is no place to die. [King T'Challa holds out his hand for Okoye. He suddenly disintegrates into ashes]
Okoye: Kumkani?!
Groot: [Slowly corrodes into ashes] I am Groot... [TRANSLATION: "Dad?"]
Rocket: No... no. No. No. No! Groot, no...
[Wanda is mourning over Vision. She then turns into ashes. An injured Sam (Falcon) turns to ashes.]
James Rhodes: Sam? Sam, where you at?!
Mantis: Something's happening. [She disintegrates into ashes.]
[Quill looks behind him as he sees Drax disintegrate]
Drax: Quill?
Tony Stark: Steady, Quill.
Peter Quill: Aw, man. [Quill also gets disintegrated into ashes]
Stephen Strange: Tony, there was no other way. [He finally disintegrated into ashes.]
Peter Parker: Mr. Stark? I don't feel so good...
Tony Stark: You're all right?
Peter Parker: I don't know what's -- I don't know what's happening. I don't... I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go, Mr. Stark, please. Please, I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go... I'm Sorry. [Parker disintegrates into ashes in Stark's arms.]
Nebula: He did it.
[Stark mourns silently at their failure]

Peter was so hearthbreaking. While his death took the longest for added dramatic effect, the in-universe explanation could be because Spider-Man has an insane healing factor. His power was working over-time trying to counteract the snap. Add his spidersense in the mix, telling him he's actually in imminent danger and pretty much dying. That shit's hard. One that gets overlooked alot is Drax though. In the end he's calling out to Quill, hoping he'll find a way out of this mess, because even when the rest of the Guardians often make fun of him, in the end they still look up to him as the man with the plan.

In my opinion it is the pinnacle of the acting technique that requires the actor to actually fill themself with the desired emotion and pour it into the character through them. To bring it up and experience it. It is a technique that I utilized myself when I performed in theatre, and I can only wish I will ever be able to perform it this convincingly.

"Mr Stark". I don't if a name has ever had as much behind in that in any film i've seen. As soon as you hear that line and voice you know that he's gone, and there is nothig anyone can do to stop it. It hurts even more seeing Tony react, knowing he is powerless and he has to watch a young kid that he treats as his own kis die in his arms. You know that all of this is going to happen, that it's going to be the end of the most beloved Marvel character ever, you know all of this because a teenager from Queens said the name of the most famous billionaire on the planet. If thats not good writing and legwork, I dont know what is.

0:30: Steve went through hell and back to defend Bucky, creating a massive rift in the Avengers that wouldn't be healed for years, only to see Bucky "die" right in front of him when it became clear they failed. I dunno why, but even 6 years later, *that's* the "dusting" that still hits me the hardest, no matter how heartbreaking the "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good" or James Gunn confirming what Groot was saying moments were.

We need to give Tom props for his improv skills, and Robert for the follow-up. In Homecoming Tom hugs Rob "We're not there yet kid!". In infinity Wars Tom improvises his death Scene and hugs Robert for comfort... and becquse of those 2 improvised scenes we get the warmest hug FROM Robert... TO Tom. That character arc over a god dam hug.
@cosmicvoidtree

People who said Tony’s death was the saddest are the ones who forgot the end of infinity war. This is one of the only scenes in any movie to make me cry. You see Bucky dust, then T’Challa. Then Groot dusts with rocket and that’s when the emotional damage really starts. then Wanda and Sam go. We cut to Titan with Mantis being the first followed by Drax, Quill and Dr Strange. At this point you’re barely holding your heart together if at all, hoping that something will go right. And then Peter happens. For those whose hearts hadn’t been broken yet, Peter just shatters any hope whatsoever and I don’t know anyone who understood what was happening and didn’t completely break. Peter takes this liberty of taking the remaining pieces of our hearts and stomps on them harder than Zemo did to the vials of super soldier serum.

Yes, well, we already knew that Tony was somehow gonna be the one to sacrifice his life to defeat Thanos, so it did not really have much of an impact. At least he died knowing that those who died at the end if IW came back. So it was more of a happy ending for Tony rather than a sad one.

I remember watching this scene in theaters. It was opening night, so there hadn't been time for any spoilers to leak. That also meant the theater was packed full of people. And despite that, i had never heard a theater so quiet. Forget a pin, you couldve heard a feather drop, if not for the sound of the movie itself. Im fairly certain there were people not even breathing, thats how intense the shock of the snap was. Even leaving the theater, youd think a funeral had just let out, they way everyone talked in hushed whispers. Any movie can thrill an audiance. It take something truely special to shock them to complete silence.

knowing that yelena belova was also snapped, i can't imagine the pain that natasha was going through on that moment. i think she lost a part of herself just as she had regained her other family and probably would've had them meet the avengers if it wasn't for those fucking accords.
@matthewquach2705
@matthewquach2705 2 жыл бұрын
While the accords were partly why the avengers lost, they also were unwilling to make sacrifices to prevent Thanos from achieving his goal. Thanos had to endure the loss of everything he had and loved which is why he was able to win. Had Thor chosen to go for Thanos' head or arm he could've won. If the Avengers were willing to destroy both the time stone and sacrifice vision ahead of time, Thanos wouldn't have been able to obtain both stones, resulting in the highest kill count of comic book history.
