[SPOILERS!!!] Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ arrives in theaters this weekend. The film is directed by The Russo Brothers and stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Tom Holland and Josh Brolin. This has been the culmination of ten years of MCU films and world building from Marvel, Disney and Kevin Feige. In the film, the Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. The Collider crew participated in a scoreboard video a couple of weeks ago and now that they have all seen the film, it’s time to see who the winner is.
Mark Ellis returns to host this video and speak with the winner about their answers and their amazing ability to prognosticate about the film. They both discuss how much they enjoyed seeing how many of the questions were answered by the movie and how they felt about the movie overall. I don't have any stakes in the fight I don't like this genre to begin with. However, I can quote every single line from the Dark Knight, I can hum Superman theme song and yet we are 19 movie in I can't quote a single line or hum any theme song of any superhero in the MCU. Goes to show you how bland it is and they say Avatar doesn't have a cultural footprint.

Thinkers Rave Do you realize how nonsensical what you just said is? You start off by saying that you don't even like this genre. Then follow that by saying that you don't even remember black panther. Which means you went to theater to see it. Why would you pay to go see a movie that's in a genre you don't like? Not only that, but to know that the 19 movies are bland strongly implies that you watch them all. I mean I totally respect someone not liking the MCU. But why would anyone keep watching them if they've seen a handful of them and thought they were all boring? How do you make it to film number 19? And if you haven't seen them all, how do you know they're bland? Either way, you're clearly full of shit.

luis hernandez Well it’s not an arc reactor, it’s housing for his bleeding edge nano bots since putting them in his bones is disgusting. Also, yes and no. No, because it should never had happened in the first place as having that there adds a level of concern for when he’s in battle since it’s directly tied to his heart so you could’ve had a scene where it gets damaged and we get a moment where Nebula and Strange have to save him...... would’ve been neat. But the second issue is that this movie is basically undoing the battle scars our vets garnered through their battles. For all their losses, it’s been instantly undone mostly with aesthetic changes, but they have the things that were lost once again.

Sorry Perri, but your prediction about Vision staying dead are wrong. There’s two things that point that out out. First, is how he turns white(ish) before he dies. The same color he turns at one point in the comics. Second, and most important, is something that Shuri says prior to operating on him. She points out that the Stone was only one of 5 (I believe) components that make up who Vision is and that he may be able to survive without it. I believe that either he will self repair or will do it with the help of someone else.

What's weird is in the first Guardians when they showed Quill's rap sheet it lists him as having a translator implant. Which would be a decent hand wavy explanation for how he has no trouble understanding and talking to a bunch of aliens. But now we've got more Earthlings just communicating with them anyway and none of them even question it.

My prediction goes as follows. Only Tony and doctor Strange know what Thanos' motivation, ultimate intent actually are but most notably the one success they have out of the plethora of scenarios. That being said, until Tony gets back to Earth to inform everyone of what just happened, it's all a giant mystery. Hell, even Captain America said "What just happened? What just happened? Oh my God..." at the end of the film. That was his last line in fact. Because Tony was given another chance due to doctor Strange, he is apparently the main antagonist to Thanos in the final film or at least a very important part in Thanos' ultimate destruction. This must be the outcome that doctor Strange saw where the heros succeed out of the 14,000,605 possible scenarios. I hope that Tony, Ronin, Cap, Black Widow, Banner, Nebula, Rocket, Captain Marvel, Ant Man, Wasp, Wong and Thor are the new Avengers main team. I really hope that they are together in this film and it brings back the cohesiveness that we lost in Infinity War where they were basically ambushed with no real warning. In terms of how they will eventually alter the events of infinity war, it can be assumed that Tony's B.A.R.F. technology combined with the technology from Pym Tech, they will find a way to acquire the infinity Stones and get a new gauntlet from the Dwarf King to harness the power of the stones. It yet to be seen what needs to actually be done to undo the past events and if all the Infinity Stones are even necessary to defeat Thanos. If Thanos doesn't possess the stones anymore, he is quite vunerable and beatable for that matter. What the Avengers will probably focus on is retrieving the souls of all that were lost and protecting who's left. The other goal will be revenge on Thanos. I am so excited for Ant Man and the Wasp which I hope gives us some new clues into the next film and Captain Marvel and finally... The end game of Avengers 4. The hype is real people!!!!!!

Let me add this... I failed to word this correctly... In terms of the success possibility regarding 14,000,605 different scenarios - Tony is the only one aware of it. My bad guys. But yes u are correct that Thor and Banner know what Thanos' had planned. Sorry about that. I am sure that Banner told everyone what was coming as well. Once Tony returns he will probably tell them what Doctor Strange had said and that will lead into Tony developing the B A.R F. tech and hopefully working with Hank Pym.

Jigawatt I get that but why not just leave him and the pre snap people dead it raised the stakes and when they ultimately defeat thanos it'll come with a loss which is better than everyone turning out ok which is kind of a cop out. Plus Marvel has gotten criticism for not killing characters off so this seems like the perfect opportunity to do just that

In the comic Adam Warlock convinces Thanos that he is not worthy and Nebula then wields the gauntlet to get revenge on him Directors said Warlock is not in the next movie, but I can see Gamora convincing Thanos to reverse it in the soul world and some how it will play out in the movie Basically I don’t want Gamora dead

Maybe make the wild card points depend on probability? For example: 1 point for something likely, 2 points for something that’s 50/50, 3 points for something unlikely. I’m not sure how to determine that but it would incentivize crazier predictions. Just a thought

My thinking is this: Red Skull is now the keeper of the Soul Stone. Yeah, he's the founder of hydra but his knowledge of the Soul Stone may be - in Tony's eyes - essential to winning the war. That would definitely be enough leverage to get back to Earth.

Thanos did die though just because they said thanos will be back didn't mean he didn't die thor stuck stormbreaker in his chest and heart and then pushed it into his heart even deeper their is no way he can come back from that unless.... Turning back time and change things which would explain why captain America and tony stark was seen on the set of Avengers 4 looking the same as what they did in the first Avengers on the same set as the first Avengers in the new york battle

I think Thanos might be dead...Thor buried Stormbreaker into Thanos' chest...did not kill him immediately but since Thor didn't fade into dust, it wouldn't make sense for him to leave Thanos alive. That sunset sequence might have taken place in the soul world...

Prediction wise. After the events of Infinity war i believe Wakanda and elsewhere will follow the leadership set forth by Cap. He wont be the new black panther but He will lead. Also side note Cap would destroy T'Challa in a ritualistic combat situation

Well, yeah. You can't just take the serum out of Steve but T'Challa is required to give up the powers of the Black Panther. Not exactly a fair match.

Well it’s safe to say that this big end all be all movie didn’t even have the guts to remove one of the big three, while ironically undoing the things that they lost through their journeys. Cap has a shield, Thor has both an eye and a hammer while Tony had a glowy thing in his chest again.

Truth be told Thor losing his eye feels like a waste to me now because since it’s been undone. When I was at Target I saw the Avengers display with him having both eyes and I first thought they did that as to not be creepy for a toy section, but it was actually a spoiler.

Lance37a Probably, but probably not. I can only imagine Steve dying at this point since Thor is fucking OP now and Tony has something to live for and survived a chunk of moon crushing him.

They don’t have to do anything, and if you need half the universe to be dead as a means to say you’re sorry when your brainwashed friend killed the parents thar were people that made money from weapons manufacturing which in turn killed the parents of your ally and didn’t apologize and your dad is fucking over other inventors then you’re just a piece of shit. The fallout of Civil War as we know it is pointless in the grand scheme of things. Not the movie I mean the fallout in the MCU. It’s like Ross crying over politics when a mega destroyer thing is outside and aliens are smashing your mighty heroes. Where were the fighter jets dropping air assault on that thing?
