Same, I just played this quest in my native language (russian) and searched it on YT to rewatch it Was surprised they dropped the 'beautiful' as it was so cute and Aventurine literally called half of people on Penacony pretty feels so weird that even CN original itself included it but not EN version (as it's usually asian countries/fans who are so into 'idol culture'), reminded me of EN dub for Seele/Luka problem

@@noatmealcookie02 Yeah, I do remember a few translation errors in ENG as well like in the conversation between Acheron and Aventurine where the one they were talking about is Firefly, but the ENG implies that it's TB instead. I love the ENG dub (and I know CN and KR *love* Camden's performance as much as I do as well), but the translation* team does need work. Plus, this little fumble on ENG Aventurine calling Topaz beautiful in other languages sparked some kind of ship war in the shipping community that I watched happen, especially between Raturine and Avenpaz shippers. Some argue Aventurine was just being sarcastic in his compliment (then again, both parties are plenty of snarky while arguing here). Others accuse them of cherrypicking and that Aventurine compliments plenty of people including calling TB dazzling regardless of which gender you picked. It got to the point of calling people "homophobic" and arguing what his "canon" sexuality is. I don't usually engage in shipping wars, but it did make me kinda wonder a bit. Edit: spelling

it is, the entire segment where qingque was dragged into a cult is actually a meme from the chinese web, someone at mhy was probably on too much memes when they wrote this

The thing is that the 10 stone hearts are apart of Diamonds group, but they themselves have their own specialised group too. Diamond probably had a completely different title and the reason Aventurine and Topaz call themselves Directors is because every stoneheart is a director and its a “mutual respect” thing. They call Jade “Lady Jade” because of how higher she is compared to them. (Jade has a higher position than Aventurine BTW)

Jade is rank P46, Aventurine is rank P45 and Topaz is rank P44 if that’s helpful. Meaning Jade has a higher position than both of them and thats why she’s referred to as lady or madam

Diamond is the Head of the Strategic Investment Department. You can think of senior manager as the highest level you can reach below department head. All Stonehearts have the title of director, they are directors of their own teams within the Strategic Investment Department, for example Topaz is the director of the Special Debt Picket Team. The reason why Topaz and Aventurine call her Madam, even though the 3 of them occupy the same Stonehearts/Directors/Senior Managers positions could be because they are inferior to her in rank (Aven - P45/ Topaz - P44/ Jade - P46), but personally I believe it has to do with experience and time at the IPC, Jade was the one who recruited Aventurine to the IPC, and Topaz said that Jade was the one who taught her “The three steps of negotiation”, so I think they just respect her very much, and woukd treat her like this even if they were all P46.
