Honorable mentions. Holding F with the Firebrand to lunge flames forward is not its only special attack. You can also hold F briefly and then release to perform a fire-enhanced swing. Firebrand may be slower, but also has a longer swing hitbox. This actually makes it easier to perform parries as you can just throw the item you want to parry while in the middle of swinging. The real downside is that you can't parry as fast, which makes it relatively obsolete for parrying enemies. Explosives affected by the Firebrand not only increase in damage and do fire damage, but also get an increase in range. This applies to everything, including +NUCLEAR REACTION. BB Gun's ability can be used on the Superball, Cannonball, and even Slingshot's pellets, though the latter is much harder to do because of aim time. As mentioned earlier, Firebrand increases the range of explosives. If you use this to parry Flamethrower's fuel canisters, you effectively have a spammable, autoaiming timebomb.

You can also slash the flamethrower's canister with the firebrand, albeit harder to hit it has more damage and a larger explosion. EDIT: If you look up and eject the cansiter and slash with the firebrand at the same time while walking forward, you will almost always hit the canister.

You should've talked about the flamethrower canister + firebrand combo, it's massive and op.

some few notes here: u can use slingshot coins to parry mark charge causing the style +CHARGEBACK! and dealing 2100 dmg(it will target enemies only if mark sniper is aimed at the enemy and the enemy will absorb the dmg however the style wont be obtained) Slingshot has a similar flight with sword either with bomb or dash jump where u could fly and is easier

Its actually easy to sugarcoat eith fireband To parry a weapon projectile u need to look up and as soon as u see the projectile u need to parry press f And for hostile projectiles as soon as u see the bullet swing ur fireband(it only works on the ray gun)

my favorite loudout is bomb plus wall, which sounds funny but i was able to destroy the first and second boss on my own with upgrades of course.

if you hit the flamethrower canister with a firebrand it makes a bigger explosion

you can also use superball to extend the sword pogo. throwing it down at the foot will keep the speed and bounce you. 2 you can use slingshot to slingshot pogo. its much easier and can kinda be used in 3rd person. 3 you can use gun man, scatterblaster guys, soliders projectiles to sword pogo. just harder to hit obviously.
