Awesome technique to avoid too much tension for the wrap, another advantage it's modular a piece get damaged for a reason only that piece could be replaced !!

Excellent work! I look forward to wrapping my truck one day. One of the reasons for wrapping the purple over the green was to prevent water build up. Would water build up not happen with the mold and hold in place also? I've never done a wrap, so I don't know what I'm talking about, however, logically speaking, by adding the mold and hold it looks like you lost that benefit. Is that not the case? Thanks for the clarification!

Any advice for wrapping with a carbon fiber print? Other than just eye-spotting to match the weave, I don't see how else I can meet the top to the face of the trunk

what brand of wrap is that

But doesn't the molding tape create a corner where water can get caught, I thought that's why you did the downwards overlap over the green vinyl.

What's the name of that molding tape? And where I can buy it? Thanks! Great video tho!

wow. Beyond professional wrapping. I've seen a lot of wraps here in california but this is to an entirely different level of quality. What brand wrap is that?
@bobkatttt7 жыл бұрын
Since the video is sponsored by Avery I would guess it is Avery vinyl

The brand is literally the channel's name. Same name and logo, Avery Denisson :)

I think it would have been better to leave the gap behind the license plate for durability purposes. Cutting it out might look cleaner when the customer takes out the license plate but it leaves room for dirt and moisture to get it which then can damage the paint. Leaving it covered leaves a bubble thats protected. No?

nice job guys . can you give the link where to buy that molding tape you using on the overlap . thankyou ;)

Vytautas Corrado did you got respond where to buy the molding tape? I'm looking for it too. Thanks!
I think I understand the triangles and laying in versus stretching. But I am quite confused when I see you stretch around corners and say there's no tension! I'm missing something?

I noticed you said the vinyl is coming off in 3 years, is this because it will only last for 3 years or the customer only wants it on for 3 years?
@bananarevs88427 жыл бұрын
lasts for 3 years
@jackiechan_wtf40416 жыл бұрын
Jesus H. Christ Customer will remove it in 3 years. A good quality wrap plus if the car is parked in a garage most of the time, you can get at most 7 years.
