Absolutely love this! That being said, the last 2 singles were alot more soft compared to the rest of the singles, so my guess is that the next single is going to be the heaviest one yet.

Only listened to this track today (and now currently have the global crown for it). Absolutely love the synthwave aspect to it, that and the cleans are the highlights in this track! Struggling to decide between this and Obsession as my favourite track!

Another track that gets better and better after each listen, beautiful track and the breakdown fit in so perfectly into the overall soundscape experience he created, similar to how everything fits in a Sleep Toekn song... so damn good!

Was absolutely not expecting Hurtwaviana, but I LOVE it! I've been noticing a trend of synthwave influence in metalcore recently (Kingdom of Giants, Dreamwake, Dayseeker etc) and I am so here for it. The electronics were blended so well with the heavy elements here. This is probably my second favourite single just behind Obsession. Aviana's new material has been slighly hit or miss for me, and I think the style of clean vocals is the biggest factor. Joel has a really nice lower register, and I love that they went for more of a moody and haunting feel. It's such a minor thing, but the vocal mix pushing him into the background was such a perfect choice and really nails the synthwave influence that they were going for. As you said, I honestly wouldn't have minded if they omitted the breakdown entirely from this track since it's so unique. Some bands seem to feel compelled to insert a breakdown into every track such that it can end up detracting from the unique elements of a song, but it does bring it more in line with the other singles. If anything, I would have liked more of an emphasis on the electronics during the breakdown, but what we got sounds huge and it's not really a complaint. Hugely impressed, really excited to see if the release contains any more surprises! Great breakdown as usual Rach
