Superb video Eric and AJ Goin. Really impressed you’re investing this time and energy to helping pilots around the world, regardless of whether they train or buy from you. Much respect! I wish this resource was available 8 years ago.

I love these videos! I know they are a few years old now but I still would recommend some chase came footage for this just so that left is left and right is right. Great stuff.

As a whitewater kayaker, the way to battle oscillation makes sense. In rapids, the hip you chose to lift when getting pushed by a strong current is often counter-intuitive and takes practice to learn. AJ's explanation on how to use/ not use brakes makes sense to me. Great work on the video!

After training I'm flying at my home LZ getting ocilations... I really appreciate this content because yea flying is the easy part but theirs so much nuance to in flight energy management and it is not intuitive... Thank you for putting this information out, it's making the PPG community better, safer pilots!

These are the most helpful videos i've seen about continuing your understanding of PPG after instruction... THANK YOU! Please keep these videos coming. I'd like to see some motor out scenarios and the steps to take in order of importance so I have them ready in my mind if/when I should encounter this situation.

I've gotten pretty instinctive about stopping oscillation an can null it out pretty quick. Being winter I sometimes inadvertently start one while I'm moving around trying to put my gloves on. I don't like to have them on during actual launch. Great video though!

I have been in this situation, (though we called it 'tic tock') and the initiator was ridge lift on one side of the wing, and overcompensation with the opposing brake. Similar correction, but mostly... Make a conscious effort to 'underreact', or even, ignore the oscillation altogether. In that case, even if the oscillation progresses a few extra cycles, the amplitude shrinks, as opposed to growing (positive feedback).

I sometimes experience oscillations right after takeoff during climb out and at full power. So not safe to reduce power yet and of course low to the ground. I'm just waiting them out and they're not particularly scary. Any advice for that specific situation?

I've owned/flown a wing that self oscillates. Hand up, constant power, not enough. Some wings require active piloting... NOT so 'simples'.
