content isn't boring homie. you're doing things yourself and that's always good stuff. i only discovered you a few months ago, but i bought a 92 sc400 2 days before you revealed that you swooped this soarer. so needless to say i'm interested in every second of documentation you put up on your build of this thing. keep doing you man, the progress is rad. excited for the future!

I would do all black. I have a grey interior in my car and I cleaned the hell out of my carpet but it still has spots, discoloration and wear spots, even after 3 shampoos and 4 steam cleanings. I would also get a set of bride reclinables for the front. The reclinable is a good cross between comfort/class as well as performance. Plus the black gradient pattern is baller AF😂 also, I know the car is a VIP build but please manual swap it... it’ll be way more fun and is still just as baller

BLCK SHEEP dying carpets are more work than it’s worth. Ask me how I know. Considering the amount of dye needed( depending on brand can be around 100 usd), you’re almost better off spending an extra 100 bucks and getting a brand new carpet. It’ll look better no matter how good of condition the original is

If your worried about doing the headliner they are very easy to do with black swade or something like that and you could pay someone to redo the sunvisors in the same black swade

I had a Saturn with factory black and tan. After awhile the tan bothered me. I found black panels for what I could, and painted the rest black. Sealed with matte clear coat. Everything looked factory. Even shined up nice with cleaning products if you wanted to shine it up after. Held up good to scratches and chips. It was a wagon so I threw a lot in the back into the painted stuff. Never needed to touch it up

I would apply the SEM satin gloss flexible clearcoat on those trim pieces. If the headliner is not sagging you can try to apply a few coats of Rit black fabric dye, it only costs a few bucks.

Another cool video never disappointed but the two tone interior looked nice and if you don't end up liking it you can always paint it. Alot of us on here enjoy any type of car content. Have a good weekend

Plus the hardest thing with going all-black what are you going to do with your electric window buttons as they would be a pain to paint and wouldn't last that long because you'd be constantly pressing on the coating.

@@diiviinemedia Cool, good job on finding them, even harder for me to finding them for mine as I have the extra Ulstrasonic mirror button and there were very few black, right hand drive interiors with that upgrade. But dark grey and some black panels will actually look good on mine so. But manual gearbox conversion first.

DomesticGarage! Not saying bags don’t perform but a drift car on bags is asking for failure. Drifting causes a lot of rubbing and stuff being shifted around and bags are fragile by nature. For safety I wouldn’t run bags on a drift car. Maybe a track car would be better with them because there’s less chance of slamming into another car but i still wouldn’t trust them... if something accidentally punctures a bag, it’s game over and chances are you’re car is going into a wall or someone else uncontrollably

I have a '12 escape with tan interior 🤮 I put a galaxy headliner with RR lighting. I've been saying I'm going to black out the interior. I'm so glad I found these fucking videos. Deff using sem. Think I should do a light sanding or will the acetone be enough?

Mike, do whatever you think will look the best in the end. The work factor seems to be what's keeping you from doing the all black interior, but remember if you don't go with whatever colors you want, you'll regret it in the end. The work you have to do to get the look you want is temporary.

They make matte finish clear coats. No gloss to it and seals to prevent chipping the paint

I done the interior in one of my car's from grey to black, looked OEM for a few months and then slowly it started to chip off. I used high quality products and done all the steps carefully but it just doesn't work very well
