When I first heard Heaven, I literally cried. I had the biggest smile on my face and felt such pure innocent joy that I cried. Hearing this version is like experiencing that special first time I heard Heaven all over again, which is why it upsets me that people are pitting this song against the original. They're both wonderful and heavenly. We should all be happy that we get another version of a great song ♥️

This has a more avicii feel than the new one

Just wanna clear this up: the official version with chris martin on vocals is the version avicii wanted released. also, chris martin was the original vocalist. avicii experimented with some other vocalists (including this version with simon aldred), but finally decided to go back to the original one. this song was made during the coldplay-avicii sessions (the same time as 'a sky full of stars', so 2014), meaning chris martin actually co-wrote this track with tim.

This is easily the best version, the tempo, the energy, the vocalist, the production.

Sorry to be a perfectionist, but this is actually the 2015 version. Tim and Chris Martin wrote and recorded the song in 2014, but Tim played this at a couple of festivals in 2015. The finished version, which was released in the "TIM" album, was finished in 2016. The 2015 version is also great though!! :)

I remember hearing this one, Nicky Romero played it at his show and was so excited. The official just isn't as good as this version, the new one is too slow imo.

Even Heaven sung by Simon Aldred had like 100 different versions. This is by far the best one. Been listening to the version with Chris Martin on the album but now listening to this one... This one is so much better. To me it is the best song ever made. The feeling i get from this song is amazing.

I think I have heard this version in the live stream. Chris Martin's voice is more natural in this version. Very Avicii's vibes instrumental. Both versions are great, but yeah I love this version better. I wonder Coldplay will perform this song in their next tours

the chorus absolutely BANGS on this version but the new one with Chris sounds more high def and the slowed tempo really adds bounce to it and while the drop isn't as nice, I think the producers did it right by dropping the new version as the official release track
