You know, it’s easy to look back with rose tinted glasses. But you know what? I see really happy people. They aren’t all holding their phones trying to record memories. They’re living in the moment. They’re not dressed in knock off designer clothing. They’re in unpretentious t shirts. There’s not 15 promoters surrounding avicii with cameras. We were less worried about how we looked back then and wether this would go on our social pages. Social media reprogrammed us. Oh to be in that crowd.

I discovered AVICII and rave music during the pandemic and I absolutely love EVERYTHING he has ever made. I watch it over and over again and listen to all of the awesome noises and I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!! I am going to my first rave festival EVER this year and I know that I will hear some Avicii live and I am going to be SO SUPER HAPPY. RIP Avicii, your music is amazing 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

Man when I was in highschool and I saw this video it changed my life. Never heard a sound like that before. Threw me into the edm wave and got me producing music. There were lots of inspiring tracks at the time but this one was the definitive "holy fuck" moment. How could someone make something so perfect?

Its the really timeless songs like this thst give me such a massive dose of nostalgia that i can physically feel the weight of it on my chest. 😢 rip legend and rip to our youth. Atleast we were the last generation to really throw our inhibitions to the wind and enjoy a moment together.
