This is the first part of the video on Mahatma Gandhiji (Bapu) which is part of Apan Tyanchya Saman Vhave Vyakhyamala by Shri. Avinash Dharmadhikari Sir (Ex - IAS) held in the year 2006. This vyakhyanmala is comprehensively based on Personalities who Shaped, Influenced and Inspired different time periods in India. It seeks to encourage people to follow in the footsteps of these great people.
Mahatma Gandhiji was the great messiah of Non-violence and as rightly he holds the title of being the 'Father of our Nation' (Bapu). His idealogy of satyagraha destroyed the British roots in India paving way for our freedom after being ruled over for almost 190 years. May his teachings and his message of Love, Peace and Non-Violence live on within us forever.

आपले खूप खूप आभार. माझ्याही मनात लहानपणापासून महात्मा गांधी यांचेविषयी एक घट्ट अढी होती, आजही आहे. कुठेतरी असंही वाटलं की महात्मा गांधी यांचा सगळं जग उदोउदो करतंय तर आपण समजून घेतलं पाहिजे. माझ्या मनातील अनेक गैरसमज दूर होण्यास आपल्या भाषणामुळे खूप मदत झाली. परत एकदा धन्यवाद.

Some areas of Dharmadhikari s intellectual development are unbelievably weak and are susceptible to corrupt propaganda of very Systematically cultivated Mahatma Mythology! This Mythology was partly created by Gandhiji ,and partly by the followers,admirers,also by the so called enemies Britishers ! I never thought Avinashji D.would also fell for it head long in this way ! Any way I am disappointed , but my respect for him & his work has not diminished! No Human Being is 100% Just,Pure,& So called Normal ! Even our Gods r not !😊

Mahatma Gandhi was runner up of TIMES person of century not winner, reference:- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_100:_The_Most_Important_People_of_the_Century Albert Einstein is TIMES person of century for 20th century not Mahatma Gandhi.

सर, मी तुम्हाला पहिल्यांदा ऐकतोय. 24 मिनिटं झाली ऐकून, उत्कंठा होती. पण थोडी निराशा होतेय. एक चिंतक नव्हे तर खूप भारंभार वाचन केलेला वाचक आपलं वाचन आणि त्याचे details श्रोत्यांना देतोय असा fill ऐकतांना येतोय.

@@Shubham96K मित्रा, तुमचं वय किती मला ठाऊक नाही. वयानं मजपेक्षा लहान वाटता तरीही मी अरे तुरे ची भाषा वापरणार नाही. दुसरं म्हणजे मी धर्माधिकारी सरांबद्दल पूर्ण आदर बाळगून आहे. मी कितीही वाचलं नाही वाचलं तरी त्यांची माझी तुलना होऊ शकत नाही, हे ही मला ठाऊक आहे. मी सरांचे लेखन वाचलेय, मला लेखक म्हणून ते जितके प्रभावी दिसले तितके व्याख्याते म्हणून नाही. हे प्रथम दर्शनी. कदाचित हे माझे मत बदलेलंही. महत्वाचे म्हणजे आपण एखाद्याचे चाहते असू वा नसू, टीका टिप्पणी करूच नये, असं नाही. त्यांच्या इतके ज्ञानी/पंडीत असण्याची सुद्धा अपेक्षा त्यासाठी का असावी? अभिव्यक्ती स्वातंत्र्य चा अर्थ तरी काय. To criticize something is the backbone of democracy. गांधीवाद मांडणाऱ्याला आणि ऐकणाऱ्यालाते वेगळं सांगावं लागत नाही.

@@mathsinfinity9854 अरे तुरे ची भाषा मी त्या अर्थाने नाही वापरत आहे... एक लहान किंवा मोठा भाऊ म्हणून मी तुम्हाला "तु" म्हटलं आहे त्याबद्दल गैरसमज नको... तुम्ही जर धर्माधिकारी सरांचा आदर बाळगून आहात तर तुमच्या पोस्ट चा आशय तसा नाही वाटला मला 24 मीनीटे भाषण ऐकून त्यावर समीक्षा करणे माझ्या मते चुकीचे आहे... सर भारंभार वाचन मांडत आहेत हे तुमचे म्हणणे होते, सर चिंतक आहे याबाबत शंका होती तुम्हाला हे मला तुमचं मत वाटलं... त्यामुळे "तुम्ही" त्यांच्यावर "भारंभार वाचक" अशी उपाधी लावने मला योग्य नाही वाटलं... कोणत्याही व्यक्तीच चारित्र्य सांगताना त्यात वेगळं असं चिंतन काय मांडणार ते..., त्या व्यक्तीचेच, गांधीजीचेच काय विचार होते हेच मांडणार न..? तुलना तर मी करतच नाही आहे तुमची आणि सरांची.. तुलना करणेच योग्यच नाही आहे, प्रत्येक व्यक्ती आपापल्या क्षेत्रात पारंगत असतो... शेवटी democracy चा तुम्ही हवाला दिलात तर त्यामुळे तुम्ही critisize करत होता हे तुम्ही मान्य केलं अस मी समजू का...?

Dharmadhijsri is wrong.The first matter in which Gandhi appearredxas advocate for the first time was a matter in the Small Causes court before the judge Chitre.But when the matter was called out Gandhi stood up but his legs started trembling in pants and had to sit down.Thus he failed.Gandhi himselfvhas stated this in his autobiography.
