Lots and lots of car inventory. I'm glad to see things getting better and better. Thanks for doing a walk through. I need a car for two weeks in Orlando, this Oct/Nov. I checked prices on the Capitol One portal. Believe it or not, the cheapest Hertz car is a Tesla. Cheaper than a compact, full size or anything. I don't think electric cars fit the rental car market too well.

So that mustang is a pretty rare EcoBoost High Performance Package. I can’t say I’ve ever seen those on a rental lot before, but basically it gave you a a slightly more powerful Ecoboost tune, and pieces normally reserved for GT models.

So cool to see one with the performance pack. I had an Ecoboost once at another location that had the active exhaust that was pretty rare also. Don’t think that one had the performance pack tho.

Wow, GLS’s are rare as rentals, shoudlve went inside it, and also, Genesis G80s are rare also. Plus there was a brand new GLC in blue. 2024.

Seems the car rental market is slowly returning to normal. I remember 18 months ago in PHX, I couldn’t get a car until 2 hours later and it was expensive. Not on my dime as it was on at company expense but still.

What category would we need to rent from Avis to get something similar to that Mustang, Genesis, or GLS? You think they still have good inventory here at O'hare for sometime in May? Great video btw!

Not sure about Avis but I have seen a couple at Enterprise LAX.

@@CarRentalGuy okay thanks. I'm in the president circle with Hertz,but it's been over a year since I've rented from them. Hertz inventory dropped a lot since the pandemic. Since then I've been renting from Avis and Enterprise. The only thing I don't like about Enterprise is they only allow you to rent one car at a time. Sounds crazy I know. Hertz and Avis allow you to rent multiple cars at the same time. Sometimes I may rent a Challenger, Charger and Camera at the same time. I'm addicted to renting cars. I just love cars period. That's why I love your channel. My favorite cars are muscle cars and sports cars. My wife and kids have been wanting to try out the electric cars. If you rented them before do a video on how they drive and how to drive one. I look forward to watching more of your videos.👍

They usually write PM on the windshield if it needs an oil change or something else if it needs fixing.

i never rented from Avis before but what type of car will their be on the “mustang mach e reservation” it doesn’t say “similar” usually it does but it just says specifically mustang mach e thats for JFK in NYC a model Y is a high possibility?

Avis has a bunch of Ford Mach E electric SUVs. I would say there is a good chance you’ll get one if you reserved that class. I don’t think I’ve seen any Tesla model Y at Avis they do have the model 3.

@@CarRentalGuy I’ve seen your other videos with Avis and you showed model 3s and Ys. I watched majority of the videos, you have up yeah with Avis/Budget group together on a bigger airport they have that. So I assume if they don’t have the Mach E they would do a courtesy change to a Model Y. But other than a model Y what would be a possibility not the XC40 Recharge because comparing that SUV is a compact SUV they have anything else from a model Y and Mustang Mach E excluding the Xc40

I’m renting at Midway in a few days to drive down to Florida, how do I get them to swap me into a different car if I don’t like the one they give me? Just ask or? And what time is the best for vehicle selections? Because one time I went late at night and was stuck with a base model dodge charger 😂

Just ask, and also, best time for vehicle selections are thursdays and Fridays.
