@Music and lyrics It’s not rocket science (I think). For someone who songwriters (haven’t published anything yet since I’m 12) I know that only the singer/songwriter (AViVA) knows the true inspiration and meaning behind the song, and the song is left for our own interpretation. I believe (in my perspective) this song is about accepting the freak side of ourselves and not caring about what other people think or say. A lot of people are afraid of showing their true selves in fear of people not liking them. Like the song states, “I’m a freak, and I own it…” It literally says that she owns it and accepts it. Not to forget the bridges, it states, “You don't know what you're missing But it's worth the price” I think that this means that this relationship (of whatever kind) is worth something and you don’t know what you missing in your life without it. “For tickets to enter the fight of your life” This relationship is something you have to earn as a prize (aka ticket) for the fight. “The whispers get louder You might shield your eyes” People will most likely talk and gossip stuff about you and “you might shield your eyes” So, I could go on but, I think you got the message. AViVA please tell me if I’m some what accurate, I don’t want to be wrong about the message of your song.
