helpful video for some and I'm not hating but there is a reason people use illustrator for Logos, Photoshop is raster RGB (cannot stretch without losing quality and for web) and illustrator is vector CMYK(Doesn't lose quality no matter how big you stretch and for print) if you're just making something for a personal project its fine but never design a logo for a business or a client that will be having it printed/on physical products using Photoshop as it will come back to bite you, not sure if you addressed this in the video but just commenting so people aren't being mislead into thinking its an acceptable practise and offering their logo design services when they are not logo designers

If you're having problems with the alt + left key, try the alt on the right side of the keyboard near the arrow keys. Also, make sure the move tell is selected!

i dont understand all these logo tutorials that come with a background? 99 percent of logos are used as png's..

Well, It's all your choice if you want to keep a Background or not. If you have a Square size Logo or rectangle, keeping it in PNG or JPEG won't make a big difference, because your don't have any transparent art to show.

i see what you are saying, but the long shadow wont be visible as a png on a black background. And the red colouring on the background is kinda half the logo. Not shitting on your work AT ALL, just wish there were more tutorials with png's..

+Horizon Select you layer first, and then do this step. Press and Hold these keys for a while. And it should work. :)

If you are on a mac I found that holding alt/option, command, and left arrow key down worked. But I couldn't drag mine around like he could. I was basically just dragging my layers around, so I don't know if it's the same.

I also used can't do it, I used tge move tool and selected the text then press alt and back arrow but still doesn't work or even when I do it on the layer without the ct t it doesn't work
