Love the practical applications. Thanks you! I’m writing a program for a Pentathlete who needs vertical jump improvement so I appreciate the guidelines of work:rest amd the force/velocity curve. She needs strength but plan on adding plyometrics so this video had perfect timing for me.

Is it okay to use for example superset of Power/Plyos exercise , for example Depth jump ant later do a Dumbell incline press? And do this for described amount of sets together.

Do we know this athlete’s max vertical jump? You mention he’s jumping about 21-22inches…Curious if there is a ratio % of max vert for optimal output on the loaded jump?

That 21-22 inches was with DBs. The highest depth jump that either of them hit was 32 inches. I’m not sure about straight vertical jump.
