As someone who lives in zone 8a I would love to add the highly invasive Chinese wisteria and Japanese honeysuckle to this list both beautiful and very fragrant when in bloom but if left unchecked they'll take over the world...and thats no joke... And also add the Bartlett pear tree to this list as well as the mimosa tree.... They have become highly evasive in the southeast not to mention by the time the Bartlett pear trees get to that large full round of shape they start splitting like crazy I've seen trees 20 ft tall and probably 20 to 25 ft wide split right half into..... Please stop selling these plants.....

And the mimosa trees and wisteria drop so many seeds in one season people that have never seen it would just never believe it .... They're almost the size of a nickel and hard as a rock...... I have entire sections of my property that has been overtaken by wisteria because I don't have the equipment to get rid of it...... And having people come and do stuff like that is very very expensive..... I know I've looked into it.... And another thing that should be added to that list is Carolina Jasmine ..... It too it's very beautiful when it's in bloom it is highly invasive I have that and a lot of places too and I'm having a lot of trouble getting rid of.... Because even though it's not technically a poison it will break you out in a terrible rash if you are sensitive to its oils I found that out the hard way..... And if you're asthmatic like myself be very careful because it can affect your breathing or at least it does mine ...... Happy gardening to everybody out there 🙋.... PS I agree 100% with the lantana cuz we have that too without it supposed to be a cute little butterfly bush yeah right it turns into a size of a small car in a matter of a few years.... And it can be very itchy and irritated to your skin too make sure you wear long pants and long sleeves when you're trimming it

I would like to add Trumpet vine. We live in Northern Illinois and this vine once it’s started is super aggressive. It climbed 70’ up an old Poplar tree and grew rhizomes beneath the soil that popped up all over our yard. Despite the attempt to eradicate it by digging out the roots it’s been impossible to get rid of. Beautiful but a real problem once established!

Oh yes, you will never get rid of Trumpet vine once it takes hold. I learned that the wrong way.

At the end of the day, most generally thought of as 'invasive plants' are controllable . They needn't become a problem. However, prevention of problems relies on gardeners being responsible & carrying out appropriate, regular maintenance.❤ You might like to add Japanese knotweed, Himalayan balsam & rhododendron to your list.
