My wife and I were kidnapped and pushed in a car in Cairo after visiting the pyramids. This happened in february 1999. I hate this country.

actually avoid everyone in general when you are in Egypt starting from airport when you arrive until you get back to the airport leaving.. even officials of the airport will try to rip you off.. stores and tourist attractions taxis and some times hotels will try too... even restaurants not so innocent.. so basically don't go there if you up to a nice comfortable and relaxing vacation

And even better if you know a trustworthy local to guide u around so you get local prices instead of "tourist" prices for regular food/souvenirs etc. but as a female do not travel to such places alone! And if you do stay in resort dont go to local spots alone

The best weapon against those annoying people is to ignore them and do not answer any of their demands , the more you talk back to them the more they gut stuck to you like glue . also you can put ear pods , earphones or even cotton balls in ur ears to send them a message , or simply avoid egypt its a horrible place for tourists , its not only in the pyramids those beggars are everywhere in egypt even in the airport. unbelievable

Their treatment of animals is disgusting. Towards the end of your video you can see them whipping the horses, even hitting them in the face. I saw much worse in person when I was there. Camel riders hitting their camels in the genital area with whips to get them to move, etc. Its gross to see tourists on camels just for a lousy selfie photo, looking so proud of themselves while atop a camel.

In NYC the bike carriage charges $5 a minute and it's legal and almost all the time a cop is required after the ride, I've seen it hundreds of times driving my Yellow cab at night and in all tourist traps... it's a pandemic so look up.
