I never really thought of Avon as an MLM. I never got that feeling from them. I usually just buy shower gels from their site and stuff and my cousin was a rep for them and I never felt pressured from them to buy stuff or work for them. It just seemed like a thing she did in her free time.

That's true. However in my previous experiences, there was a push to attend this and that. I was never really interested in that. So, I don't know if they still do that or not.

I've been with Avon Canada for almost 13 years now and loving it! Over the last year, I've been slowly transitioning to doing it full time as opposed to part time. I love hearing how different Avon is in different countries.

I used to love all of avon products until recently.I ordered eyeshadow and to my surprise I was disappointed because I checked the label on the back of it.It's made in china.If I wanted to use make up made in china.I would go directly to dollar store and it would be a lot cheaper.If you order make up from Avon make sure to ask your representative if the product you ordered is not made somewhere else.Some people do not use product on their face made in china for various reasons,some have allergies.Although AVON is a big business industry and I am pretty sure their products passed the standards.But still china do not have a good reputation when it comes to business, that's according to many reports.Some avon product are still made in the US.That's what I want to buy.

Ranges from Teenagers with problems skin (acne, blackheads etc) all the way through to mature 60+ who are concerned about wrinkles, age spots etc) Also they have some great branded items for men, including Marvel, Timberland, FCUK, Storm and Ben Sherman

Oh I messed up my first time I submitted all of my orders one at a time instead of on the date it was due to submit them all at the same time but thankfully my Avon mentor told me this time with the new campaign to not submit them all until the due date it's a learning process but I'm improving and learning new things every day and enjoying it too!!!

I'm a returning rep. I was with Avon in the 80's and then again in 2000. In the 80's especially, I had jewelry to match everything in my closet. People were always complimenting me. It's neat to see the differences from then and now. I don't really have the energy to run here and there anymore, so, I'm very pleased to see a big focus on utilizing social media and a virtual store. I'm also impressed with the online training modules. I'm just reconnecting because I love and miss the products along with perhaps making a small profit to jingle in my pocket. :)

My mother was an avon rep both in Wisconsin and in Arizona she passed away in 2016 I moved to Los Angeles in 2017 with my friend/Brother and I became slightly disabled and can not work ful time I am also persuing As degree through LACC. IM very familiar with the products cause i was a representative and would love to become on again myself

My mum used to go to "pamper parties" where she'd pay £10 to go for a pamper night with her friends and Avon rep and then £8 she got to redeem on products. That was some good thinking rep made £2pp then the commission from the orders andddddd got to know the gals of the local area. That was in hull.

I've been thinkng of becoming a Avon Rep. One time, I had purchased womens slippers in the largest size, they were still too small. I contacted my Avon rep and when I'd explained to her the issue and they needed to be returned and money refunded back to me. She said, 'you know that it will cost me money to return them. I'll give you a credit for your next order' That didn't sit well with me so I refused and got my money back. So my question is; do reps have pay out of pocket for returns?

Once a month we get to return items for free. Any additional returns after that cost a minimum of $6.95 or more depending on the weight of the box. By the way, this is for returns in the US.

For Direct orders with "free shipping" for the client Avon charges you the shipping from the money you made. So basically, no. you are not going to make money. It is a MLM.

Is it easy to sell Avon solely online ? Want to do it but have anxiety and so couldn’t deal with the whole going to peoples houses bit. That’s the only part putting me off doing it. I’d love to be an Avon rep but I’m worried my anxiety will let me down

If you are exceptionally good at selling, then it is possible that you can turn a profit with Avon, but you are more likely to make money from regular sales job. Very few people turn a profit from any MLM system. Unless you are near the top of the system or extremely lucky, then it is highly improbable that you will ever make a profit.

Avon is MLM. They don't make money, they stack products at home, hire other people while at the same time sinking into debt to their own "employer". Every comment about MLM is removed by the uploader of this video.

@@chungus100 while Avon is an MLM. That's not always now it works. If you work your products you can make some real money. Ladies in my area love Avon and they contact me for product purchase only by word of mouth. I've made a few hundred dollars doing this parttime and it is very legit. No scam.

You get out of it what you put in to it! How quick you work, your attitude and perspective makes a difference. Your goal is to make products available so that potential sales can be made. A friendly manner and a smiling face go a long way. Wouldn't you want to make a purchase from someone who is nice & friendly? As opposed to someone who is stand- offish, acting like they hate the customer, hate the business and hate the products!!😳 Think about it!! Besides Avon products sell themselves - the Rep is just the middle person, the facilitator. Take a lesson from the Lovely Lady who put this video together! A person can be as successful as they choose. The only person stopping them -- is themselves.~

@@chungus100 Is that right???? Is that what you did! My three sisters and I had regular 8-5 jobs, kids and married! We took Avon orders during work breaks, lunch time, on the phone at home and, made money, had parties, got free stuff and enjoyed the perks of having a business. That was the early days of Avon. A friend of mine asked me if Avon was still in business, as so many of their products were big time sellers and we were looking to purchase. Avon has expanded from the times since they began and it's exciting. From cookware to shoes, kids items, clothing, accessories, handbags, to men's products not only fragrances. I'm looking foward to helping the fourth generation in our family learning the business of salesmanship, meeting new people and seeing the rewards of working with a proven brand. ~ 😁 👠🧥 👓👒💍🌂👛 🩱🩳🥿👖🎛️ ☺️👍🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼💪🏼

Forbiddenangel989 in the sense of being a rep yes but also no, I feel that with other companies you’re often having to try and try and try to persuade people to buy the products I’ve had people from other companies almost tell me they’re ordering for me and get me into paying which is so wrong, AVON is nothing like that, it’s still from a catalogue or brochure but it’s not a pushy job it’s really fun and the products sells themselves you don’t force or pressurise people to buy things with you x

Forbiddenangel989 AVON have an online website for each rep so if someone searched for their local rep you’d come up as an option, they can order via online with you and depending on their delivery option you may not have to even do anything to receive the commission, you can promote on all social media, in local shops on notice boards. Word of mouth is also great!

Forbiddenangel989 of course if you don’t want to do it anymore you simply just stop! But my personal advice is keep going with it in the beginning it’s the hardest to get it off the ground but then you find a nice rhythm but you have to put in the effort xx

@@mandyobrien1871 you start from ordering a start up kit (£15) and that's it. Your online store is free. You can incourage your customers to shop online and if they do, you don't need to do anything. If they shop through e-brouchure, you order products online from Avon, deliver them to customers and collect their payments and after that you pay Avon keeping commission to yourself. prp.uk.avon.com/avonfairies

Hello! I know I'm a few years late but😂 you said something about paying Avon on time. Is this when you buy stuff from them as a sales rep orrr?? Because from what I learnt, you don't interfere with the customers and their orders apart from marketing and if they chose you to deliver to them, as you said. Sorry, I'm not really sure so could you reply to this comment? Plus, I also read some reviews about supposed reps owing very month and going into some kind of debt to Avon. Yeah, I'm a new Avon rep. Just started a week ago, ha ha.

Hi! Thank you for commenting, if you have customers ordering via yourself either in person or via online and you are delivering their order to them in person, you place your order and you have a certain time to pay Avon, this is always in enough time to receive the products, deliver them to customers receive their payment and then still have days if not weeks to pay Avon. If you don’t pay Avon then of course like any bills you would go into debt, if there are other reps going into debt with Avon it would be because they are spending or keeping their customers money and not paying Avon. So don’t do that! I hope that helps and good luck with Avon xx

@@GraceMacquet Thank you so much! I got my first set of orders last month and it wasn't even stressful like I thought it maybe. I go at my own pace and just get money anytime I get a customer😂. It's going well and I hope it continues as good as this or better. Thanks for replying.
