Everyone always tries to give her shit for this cover but they weren't even really trying, they were just having fun with it and she said she didn't even know all the words. Anyone who really likes Avril can tell this is just her and her band having fun, it's hilarious and in a good way (Evan even says in the beginning "this is gonna be funny"). Also SOAD is even one of her influences. This is literally OG Avril just having a good time and fucking around.
