@@Julio_Fiss I strongly disagree. And it's also a weird opinion to voice in this manner. Love Sux is possibly my favorite recent Avril song. Bite Me is good, Break of a Heartache is good, Love It When You Hate Me is great too, Bois Lie is good (but if you don't like MGK I could see it being less enjoyable). Cannonball is hit or miss, but I think it's a good high energy track to start with. I think it would be an exaggeration to say Dare To Love Me is oldschool Avril, it's not. But it is reminiscent of her old stuff and a good window into her feelings. I think the only one I personally don't like is Mercury in Retrograde. Plus I wasn't only referring to Love Sux, we've had other good stuff recently too. I could probably defend any song on the album if you really wanted me to ramble forever, but everyone's gonna like or dislike different stuff. And sometimes we don't even know why. I just find it weird when people see people enjoying a thing and need to be like "Well I don't like that thing"... Cultural difference probably though.

This gives me "i'm with you" vibes! Avril has had an impact on me since i was 2 years old. I remember sitting in the car together with my mom listening to avril in the mornings and later in my life i even had a speech in school about her and her music.. the fact that she still creates such magic today is so wonderful

I'm always amazed by this girl, whatever song she writes is always a hit. Her collaboration with Yungblud is a success. It's a pity that there is no like counter, because I think one would be surprised by the number of times this song is listened to. I bought two tickets last year for her concert in Paris on April 12, 2023, I'm going with my daughter, I can't wait for the 12th. I'm listening to this video over and over.

If you like Avril you should check out Tomoko Kawase. Her band Tommy Heavenly6 was inspired by her and her song "Hey my Friend" is a parody of "it's complicated". Her whole look for the band is very early pop punk Avril inspired.
