Her music actually changed A LOT on her 4th to 6th silly albums, when nobody cared for her anymore 'cause she would do what she actually felt like not listening to corporate interests. Now she might be having a moment because for some reason pop punk is having a moment thanks to talentless personalities such as his new boyfriend and machine gun kelly, who seem to be claiming the invention of pop punk under the shadow of a genuine pop punk legend called Travis Barker. Long story short: she's doing this 2002 sound on 2022 'cause she's got herself a bunch of new friends who actually used to wish to be her back in 2002 when they were kids in high school who's told her that playing and electric guitar was cool again. Long story ultra mega super short: she's not great, she's business, thirsty and hungry.

@@HervinDotTv Nope, I don't like that although I love the old Avril. Me and most of her fans wanted to see a little different things from her. Just like Taylor Swift, she do Reputation, which is very dark theme, and then now she had Folklore and Evermore which is a very different genre than most of her album who are mostly pop and country. But still, Reputation still holds a heart on me since I saw a very delicate Taylor who had enough of media lies. I want to see Avril to do that kind of album.

I love that Travis barker is on the drums for basically everyone in this mainstream revival of early 2000s pop punk emo (whatever you want to call it) and he doesn’t even take credit for it all. The guy is truly one of the best things to ever happen to the genre.

Huh??? Avril has ALWAYS never cared about sales and has always been true to herself. In 2002, her label wanted to make her a Britney Spears copycat and she said no I wanna do pop punk. In 2011, she COMPLETELY wrote MOST of the songs off of “goodbye lullaby” and changed to something new...doing slow pop instead of her usual high energy pop rock. GL was one of her lesser performing albums and she knew that was a risk to take but didn’t care bc her music is what’s true to her heart and makes HER happy whether people like it or not. I love Avril bc she’s authentic and ALWAYS been true to herself. There’s no “finally” in this.

She was fighting for over two years with her record label because she didn't want to include songs like What the hell in Goodbye Lullaby. Hello Kitty has been written before kpop became popular and it was dedicated to her Japanese fans because she appreciate them, she always tried to stay true to herself but it took a lot of fighting with label, it were the record companies who cared about sales, not Avril

I was hoping for the penultimate album tour which is how it was sold and promoted but have decided the Luv Sux tour will be more adrenalin fuelled - I'm now glad I sold my balcony ticket for the 2nd night at Brixton with the shows being moved to Alexandra Palace where it's all standing - I understand they do shows from 250 people to 10,000 - hoping it's 250!
