Being one of the most beautiful and moving pieces I have ever heard, prompted me to create this video for the enjoyment of all ~ My blessings to all of those that open their hearts to love ~

"I am honored by your creating a video based around my piece 'Awaken the Dawn.'" "Thank you for including my name in the title and at the end so that people can discover more about my music. 'Awaken the Dawn' is one of my all-time favorite compositions, and it may be my best ever. I don't know if it will ever be topped although several are in that realm (if you go to stantonlanierpiano I just posted the new track "Bread of Angels" from my latest CD release, which I believe you would enjoy) ... All I can do is give credit to God and my heart to express his peace, rest, hope and healing through music. This song was one of those that I knew it wasn't me writing it as it happened."

Usually I'm not one for putting stories on youtube videos but I've been down ill for weeks and this song was 'recommended' by KZfaq so I put it on the speakers and I just started crying and my cat came up by me, laid down in front my face and started 'cleaning' away my tears. I don't feel sad, I don't know why I cried... what I do know is I am so damn lucky to have such a wonderful little spirit in my life. Music brings out the best in everyone, I guess? Cheers

Our mother just passed away, at 95, home cared for by my sister and I. I meditate often on her full, remarkable life. This is the perfect music. Yes, I do cry..but more than this..I celebrate and honor HER life, by creating love and kindness in my own. Always, mom..always..And thank you for this inspirational piece.

Because he did. Animals know us best, even if they don't speak out language. They know. This song lets me see the place where animals long past in my life are all together again, in a field full of wildflowers and sunshine. I know its only a place in my head, but its somewhere I can always go and be happy for a little bit again.

I cry when i hear this it reminds me of my future husband....i dedicated this to be our song..........it is so beautiful......i would love to have it played at my wedding as well

It WAS played at my wedding! Just 3 months ago as I walked through the ancient Abbey at Tintern in Wales.

@TheGreatEssiebelle I think it's wonderful when music can awaken sweet memories of those we love and have loved us :) I feel the same about our pitbull/lab mix. He's just the sweetest dog ever and loves better than most humans.
