The respect and understanding you have for women because of how your mom raised you is really touching, I have two baby boys and I hope they grow up understanding women with the same mindset you have. I always loved this song since it came out but watching this video was also the first time I saw the music video and hearing you and your mom explain it was great. I've come from a rough place myself, sexual abuse, mental and emotional abuse and physical abuse including domestic violence, having to pull through and be stong for myself and my two sons. I am sober and stronger than ever now for 3 years but no one was their to hold my hand through it and so this song made me realize how strong I've been and how strong I am and I thank you for making this song it's truly women empowerment.
