I remember Halloween with Wendigo. But this... It's like a super new stage of emotions. I can't wait to see what happens next. Although I listened with bated breath from fear and tension, this... it reminds me of the Sherlock Holmes stories, where everything is very scary until the villain is revealed. It's nice that the guys are worried about us in their own way. And... Shoto, I'm sorry that we pulled you out of the shower. But I would really rush to someone for help because of such sounds.

Okay but like the part with the thing running across the road to get Bakugo to serve had me thinking of a ghost named Vera. In my province Vera the ghost haunts the highway into my town and is a vengeful spirit who runs across the road unpredictably to get cars to swerve into a particular tree which ends up unaliving everyone in the car every time. My parents were almost victims to her but luckily my father hit the breaks instead.

I don't normally like spooky but this is just so compelling! The background music, the build up, leaning on the psychological aspect then hitting with a small jump scare near the end is just chef's kiss. I'm so excited to see where this goes!
