@@thanabanana2946 if retro gaming continues, and/or we fade into ancient times for people in the future, its imperative someone makes a very sturdy robot or three to hide somewhere that only does one job: when found, it lights up, looks around, and a certain frantic piano tune starts playing to make the finder wonder if they really were documentaries

keep in mind irl a rupee is a stand in for emeralds and one of the size we see in the standard rupee would be abpout $50-$100 or more depending on quality so 80 of them would be well over what THIS irl shield is worth. you may be able to buy a car with that.

Agrihon Oberjorn I meant for appearance. Plus wasn’t the shield created by the goddess Hylia to be unbreakable (until breath of the wild)? I mean, it managed to block a blast from galeem, which mewtwo’s hyperbeam failed to do

To the common Farmer, 80 rupees would be more than a years savings! Historically, knights were required to purchase their own weapons and that was a lot of why peasants were so helpless. They simply couldn't afford weapons! This just shows that weapons should be wielded with honor, so as to honor the smiths.

I'm surprised that I'm just finding this video, it was uploaded nearly 4 years ago, I'm obsessed with The Legend of Zelda, so would've thought after that long either it would've been recommended or I would've heard about this channel at some point, oh well better late than never, love historical weaponry, whenever I have the money I'd love to collect a lot of the cool weapons.

If this doesn't convince people to like you as much as Tony, I don't know what will. While Tony's works were amazing, his Captain America shield was easily his weakest craft, but this shield is fantastic.

My original problem with these guys, and the reason why I stopped watching was because these guys were just doing random mashups and not the true recreations. If theyve switched to recreations, I might be watching again. If this was a one off, then Im still gone.

They used amber for the Triforce!! AHH!! And little tidbit here. In Lithuania, where amber is looked very highly upon, that type of amber is called "King's Amber." Only royal owned it for it was the most expensive. I don't know if they knew that but it was a great choice!

@@monkeydoespride Yeah, but the one from Majora's Mask has this screaming face embossed on it - it's so much different than the other Mirror Shields. My personal favorite is the classic one from OoT with the Crescent Moon and Star emblem.

@@inferno769 If it is, then how did the head of the carpenters have a broken one? If it was Medigoron's work, sure - his Giant's Knifes break if you hit something they can't cut - but Biggoron says that the broken hilt you bring him "is clearly my worrrrrrrrrk". SO, even the Biggoron Sword he crafts for you can plausibly break; unless he pulled out all the stops and made one to the best of his ability only for you for getting him eyedrops - maybe he's a bit lazy otherwise lol

Love how you guys made the LttP Master Sword a one handed sword like it's supposed to be. The Master Sword in many reproductions is done too big. The Master Sword is a one hand sword used by a teenager who is not know for being tall.

Very nice shield. And a nice touch throwing in a quick sword with it. You guys seem to be up to trying unconventional or extreme weapons. How about attempting to make a Switch Axe from Monster Hunter? That would be the ultimate challenge.

ClockworkHeart42 ***** Well, the switch axe and charge blade would be a little bit overcomplicated. With the switch axe you would've to be able to change between sword mode and axe mode at will, as well as with the charge blade. Idk, its just my opinion, I would be happy if they made one of the classics like the wyvern blade ``silver´´ or the wailing cleaver, or what TheDragonflyzero said :S

RWBY- Cresent Rose. PLEASE. People have been asking for this since the start of Reforged (to my knowledge). I know that, technically, a scythe is nearly impossible to use as an effective weapon, but still, sooooooo many people have asked for it, and it'd be amaze-sauce to see it be made.

I rather much prefer the arms you build like this one that are actually practical to use in combat since it lets you get all of the details down without having to making compromises, as opposed to weapons like the Buster Sword and Tessaiga. No slight against those series, I just prefer somethin' that can actually function

Well, a shield of steel isn't that good in combat XD The sword don't have a combat shape too. They can be used in combat, but aren't that 'pratical' ( Srry for the english, I'm BR and still in intermediate level )

Pai Me Buffa Buff I'm aware a steel shield is heavy, but it can still be held and block attacks. You just need a pretty good arm to hold it up. Your English was pretty good, so don't worry about it :3

kaihedgie I like the impractical stuff, because you can tell they really have to think creatively, I like to see how they make substitutions and do different things in an attempt to create completely outlandish weapons, really putting their talent to the test and showing off their creativity but everyone has their preferences, I get it :P

That comment at the end about the shield looking like it would be used in medieval times is an understatement. A shield that well made back then would be regarded only for use by members of royal families. Most likely it wouldn't even be used for combat. Rather it would probably be kept in a palace as a symbol.

Shield were used as weapons, mostly to shatter bones or to push the enemy back. Protection, and a mini weapon I guess.

It's only 80 if you've sold the Keaton Mask to the gate guard in Kakariko - he tells you to mention him and that you heard about the Bazaar from him, and if you do _then_ the guy at the Bazaar will lower it from 100 to 80.

dboydev Not just a tool, it's a whole set of gear. Even still, it's doable. They could totally just do the swords if they wanted, but the rest would just be simple machining on aluminum. I've seen a bunch of people make pretty nice replicas already.

they make swords and armour, not complicated machinery, the closest they ever got to that was the hidden blade/crossbow combo which didn't pop back on it's own and I doubt there was much more anyone could've done for that.
