@@ViridianWoF the egg doesn't have anything to do with it, he wanted to steal some concrete (or materials to make concrete) from Sam's house and he found 12 key cards in one of his chests. this wasn't even supposed to be lore but it somehow got serious but yeah the Foolish's house thing was definitely related to the egg which is really sad because he actually joined the eggpire to get revenge on Sam

ponk doesn’t bullcrappp he was getting tortured by the man he loves , his valentine and the one he’s in love with. he wanted to see how far sam would go and what he would do and ponk had no intentions of breaking dream out. first stage of grief is denial and ponk kept saying “you wouldn’t” and didn’t believe that sam would do that bcuz he thought sam loved him back. sam does but he is very scared and shaken up about tommy’s death still so he wasn’t thinking about the person he was harming was ponk. ponks heartbroken and sam probably is too since he’s now self aware of what he did. my theory with a whole CER😩

Also ponk shouldn't have stolen those keycards. It's not like Sam didn't make it clear that the prison was not to be fucked with.

Ponk joined the egg and Sam is become paranoid to the point where he is willing to torture his own friend/boyfriend (basically however you want to envision there dynamic). Sam didint think through what he was doing and I would be surprised if he doesint regret his actions afterwards. This could be a turning point for Ponk’s character however. He’s always in the background and he is being controlled by the egg. So he might try to become a more dangerous antagonists in the future. I would be pretty distraught if my valentine decided to chop my arm off out of the blue.

I think this scene is way to underrated because I think it’s such an import event! It shows how much Sam is being controlled by the prison and that he doesn’t even seem to care doing that to one of his CLOSEST friends and you can see how hurt Ponk is. I think this could be a reason why ponk is maybe going to be on dreams side when he eventually gets out because all of his friends are one controlled by the egg or controlled by the prison. All the other people don’t even acknowledge him

I’ve watched him on twitch for awhile, his voice is just naturally soft, he has into acted much on the SMP either, so he might be a little shy about it to.

Honestly, I laugh cry while in pain all the time- so him laughing while getting his arm cut off can be justified by the fact that he was trying to prove a point to Sam. That he's not affected by the torture Sam's doing. It didn't feel as chilling as some of the stuff that happens in the smp but this really made me scared of Sam and what's happening to him-

Dream has no regret for his actions and he canonically laughed when he killed Tommy in prison, so he is canonically a messed up person. He wanted everyone under his control and wanted to kill everyone. Ponk is being corrupted by the egg and it has negative affects on him. The reason why people were so surprised is because Ponk and Sam are canonically lovers/ have interest in each other, so Sam torturing someone he loves is over the top and that’s why everyone was so upset. :p

I mean Dream was gonna put Tommy in that prison. What goes around comes around

Dream never intended to kill anyone- he also claimed many times that all he wants was a happy family- you said it he’s messed up- shouldn’t you get a messed up person help instead of torturing him and locking him up? Even puffy denied dream access to therapy because “he doesn’t need it” and by now it’s pretty clear that Sam and quackity are becoming worse then him- dream does bad for good but Wilbur on the other hand does good for bad- dreams intentions were never to control everything it was for everyone to be peaceful and happy and we see from the start he barely had anyone by his side sapnap tried to switch sides and be with lmanburg but was denied for his nationality- and if you only think rationally and logically dream actually makes points and was winning the argument except his words were always twisted by someone to make it seem like he was a bad guy. I’m not justifying him manipulating Tommy and tubbo tho but the punishment did not fit the crime. (That guy is full of angst I swear-) even after all that he still excepts the fact he won’t be accepted because techno (the only person that respects dream and are ally’s) told him what he’s doing isn’t because they’re friends (honestly smells like bs) and that all they had is only business matters- if you analyze dream you’ll find that god damn he’s full of angst that not much people see-

@@leejustdied4700 your understanding of the characters is severely lacking. dream has intended to kill many people, example, being tubbo during the final disc war, and whether it was fake or not, he still could've done it. even besides that, dream has canonically killed many people. such as ghostbur, mexican dream, and tommy. besides killing people, dream is clearly a horrible person. dream wants control over the server, and he uses the "big happy family" motive has a way to convey that he wants everybody under his control without them complaining. he wants the dream smp back to the way it was, he even says this in the final disc war stream. he wants it back to the way it was when he actually had control over the server and everyone on it. that's the whole reason he collected everyone's possessions was so he could have control over them like before. this is also why he exiled and abused tommy in the first place, because tommy was really the only one who ever tried going against and the only person who was never actually afraid of him. dream exiled tommy, then made tommy think he was his friend so that he wouldn't go against him anymore. another thing is, dream never cared about the server being peaceful. if he did, he wouldn't have started most of the conflict on the server. example: dream stole tommy's discs unprovoked which then caused all the disc wars, dream declared war on l'manburg which caused the l'manburg vs dream smp war, dream assisted in the destruction of manberg with giving wilbur the tnt and siding with schlatt, he started building the walls around new l'manburg after tommy burnt down george's house which caused the conflict between tommy and tubbo, he started the doomsday war and literally caused most of new l'manburg's destruction with him raining down tnt, he stole everyone's attachments and led tubbo and tommy into the final disc war. all of the major conflicts have basically started with him, while in prison, have you noticed that there haven't been wars anymore? everything starts with dream. even when he was in prison, three major conflicts started because of him. him killing tommy, then killing ghostbur, and then reviving wilbur. even then, dream has stated many times he does things for fun. example, "im on the side of chaos" - dream on one of wilbur's pogtopia streams. "this is just so much more fun" and "you're just so fun" - on the doomsday war streams. dream THRIVES off of chaos and does not care about peace whatsoever. also quackity and sam will never be worse than dream. dream has hurt basically everyone on the server, abused tommy, and has killed many people too. this is not me saying that quackity and sam aren't bad either, but they're not worse than dream.

It does, Bbh, Ant, Skeppy, and Punz have also been corrupted by the egg. It changes your personality and the way you act. It does the same for anybody it corrupts. So Ponk is under the egg’s control and is also corrupted.
