This is 1800Cad per month, for this money one can rent similar 1 Brd fully equipped condo in a town of the size of Dauin , in BC or NS Canada, in CA or Fla USA. Same prices guys, no need to travel 14k km..... :) This is a trend - cost of living in the Pilippinas rising dynamically, I seriously consider moving my wife and kids back to the West .....

If you want to live in Compton or Watts, I guess you could get a place in CA😂. Google beachfront properties ANYWHERE in the world and see what you get. This complex hosts the CEO of Rusi motorcycles and many other prominent Filipinos. If you have the money, then it doesn’t matter. If you’re on a budget….it’s not for you. Not everyone here is on a $1200 month budget

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 Kevin, Correct, That is why I qualified my comment by saying - in s small size town like Dauin, water front In Bedford NS Canada 1800 Cad per mth, but same one bedr in Vancouver BC, or Halifax NS - twice as much. :)

It's a beautiful condo and very nicely furnished, but I wouldn't expect any less for that price. Not for the average expat who is on a $2K budget.

U can get the house here in paramp nevada monthly for $1,500 mortage for 3 bedroom house and only 1 hr drive from vegas and lake mead.

Philippines has lower prices then the USA.. You can get a nice 4 bedroom house brand new with parking in a safe 24/7 security patrolled subdivision for 500 USD or less. With pool and club house. Easy to find. Duma has become very expensive now cause all foreigners are moving to that area and for a while now.. 10 to 20 years ago was the time that just about everyone was going to duma and it was super cheap. Those days are gone. Don't compare prices here to other countries. Compare prices throughout this country. Thinking that I paid 2000 USD a month in states so paying 1200 USD here is cheap. It's not 1200 a month is really expensive here.

Kevin, its a nice property and definitely has a resort type living but PHP 75k sounds a little bit too much. I think thats about a 2br rental in BGC. But, someone will definitely rent that if they like ocean view.

We were shown around 3 of the 'Vida Homes' units for sale 3 weeks ago. They were around 14 - 18 million each (1 or 2 bedroomed). The manager also offered units to rent month to month at 90,000 pesos a month. We also looked through Anthony's 2 bedroomed unit (that Kevin did a vidoo on 4 months ago). Now have gotten all the info and B corp/Management docs and are making up our mind what to do. Thanks Kevin for the initial video that got us interested. It is a beautiful spot ......better than the Atmosphere resort that we stayed in.

I like this place. Nice unit inside with a great balcony and the views outside are fantastic plus great snorkeling too. It would make a great 1-month vacation location if they allowed a 1-month rent.

Always love your and Jenna rental videos and restaurant reviews.. my fiance and myself will certainly stay at that resort and eat at the restaurant but I will stay away from the ribs..hehe.. will definitely try to eat the pizza because I love a good pizza and a good hamburger.. the rental video was good also and I would like to stay there for a month or two but I would not want to make it my home.. thanks to you all and it is very much appreciated..👍🍺🍻😎🤗

I own a property in Angles city my condo comes with restaurant on ground floor , pool table and gym roof top has restaurant , pool table , pool service fee covers WiFi cable and water all for 800 usd

The commute fee to Dauin every day from Angeles City would kill you. It’s definitely more economical to pay 75K and live here😉

I think 50k per month is sweet spot to ask for this beautiful place but again property owner probably only looking for people with thicker wallets and don’t want deal with cheep Charlie’s out there.

1,279 Published Rate Peso, so about 1,325 after remittance cut. That's actually not bad for a nice resort. We are paying 117,000 Peso (1,995) for a house in Nashville, its too big for us with 2 bedrooms 1 bath upstairs and another bedroom, bath and office in the basement, and its not nearly that nice.

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I quit Driving, and My Wife Is from the Bukid, an OFW when we met. She rides the bus for free(Hospital worker) While I pay 33 a month. We both work nights too, so we avoid the traffic, its the 1995 a month rent thats our big bill lol. We are going to move to a Apt. closer in, not that we are far, but for more bus options. I Cycled all around Duma as far south as the Highway at the top of the hill going to Siation (Maybe 10Km shy) and as far North As Bais. I can't wait to do that again, but I'll have to build up to it., not cycling much here in Nashville.

75000 pesos rent divided by 57 pesos is $1315.. exchange rate right now is 58.47 pesos but I allow one and a half pesos per dollar for exchange rate charge.. correct me if I am wrong but that makes the monthly rent at $1315 American dollars..😊.. I would stay there for a month or two but not enough privacy for me.. I want a house with a yard that I can cook in and relax in my yard.. always love these rental videos.. thanks Kevin and thanks to your girl..

i would rent it for a month or 2 for the peace, location, surroundings & views. but too much for the long term. and let’s face it, you are sharing facilities with others as in a block of units. there’s no storage & you’ve got someone living underneath. here in Sydney Aus i just rented out my Eastern Suburbs Watsons Bay (best location) basic uf 2br unit near surf & harbour beaches without facilities for A$720/w (A$3125/m - so their asking A$1930 is 62% less for much more. thanks for great review though Kev.

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 actually brother Kevin... you are correct.... (but) my lady friend and I are now living out of a hotel in manila, we looking for a house. A phil guy friend of mine just showed me a nice 3 bdrm / 2 ba home in a nice subdv for $200 per month (because Im his friend) anyone one else it would be $500. I understand dumaguette is flood w/ foreigners from all over the world.. which of course inflates the price (skin tax). its the old supply and Demand theory. good luck on renting. its a beautiful nice by house🤓

Not for Negros Oriental! You have to realize, that in my opinion….Dumaguete has the highest concentration of expats…specifically Americans in the Philippines PER CAPITA. No doubt about it, Americans drive prices up because we are used to paying 2-5X the prices in the US

What ever that clicking sound is on your camera? Its bloody enoying. Only watched enough to say its way over priced. Seen plenty of Vlogs that show much better price unit. Ive seen 2 and 3 bedroom for same price.
