If you want to live in Compton or Watts, I guess you could get a place in CA😂. Google beachfront properties ANYWHERE in the world and see what you get. This complex hosts the CEO of Rusi motorcycles and many other prominent Filipinos. If you have the money, then it doesn’t matter. If you’re on a budget….it’s not for you. Not everyone here is on a $1200 month budget

Philippines has lower prices then the USA.. You can get a nice 4 bedroom house brand new with parking in a safe 24/7 security patrolled subdivision for 500 USD or less. With pool and club house. Easy to find. Duma has become very expensive now cause all foreigners are moving to that area and for a while now.. 10 to 20 years ago was the time that just about everyone was going to duma and it was super cheap. Those days are gone. Don't compare prices here to other countries. Compare prices throughout this country. Thinking that I paid 2000 USD a month in states so paying 1200 USD here is cheap. It's not 1200 a month is really expensive here.

75000 pesos rent divided by 57 pesos is $1315.. exchange rate right now is 58.47 pesos but I allow one and a half pesos per dollar for exchange rate charge.. correct me if I am wrong but that makes the monthly rent at $1315 American dollars..😊.. I would stay there for a month or two but not enough privacy for me.. I want a house with a yard that I can cook in and relax in my yard.. always love these rental videos.. thanks Kevin and thanks to your girl..

i would rent it for a month or 2 for the peace, location, surroundings & views. but too much for the long term. and let’s face it, you are sharing facilities with others as in a block of units. there’s no storage & you’ve got someone living underneath. here in Sydney Aus i just rented out my Eastern Suburbs Watsons Bay (best location) basic uf 2br unit near surf & harbour beaches without facilities for A$720/w (A$3125/m - so their asking A$1930 is 62% less for much more. thanks for great review though Kev.

A phil guy friend of mine just showed me a nice 3 bdrm / 2 ba home in a nice subdv for $200 per month (because Im his friend) anyone one else it would be $500. I understand dumaguette is flood w/ foreigners from all over the world.. which of course inflates the price (skin tax). its the old supply and Demand theory. good luck on renting. its a beautiful nice by house🤓

@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I quit Driving, and My Wife Is from the Bukid, an OFW when we met. She rides the bus for free(Hospital worker) While I pay 33 a month. We both work nights too, so we avoid the traffic, its the 1995 a month rent thats our big bill lol. We are going to move to a Apt. closer in, not that we are far, but for more bus options. I Cycled all around Duma as far south as the Highway at the top of the hill going to Siation (Maybe 10Km shy) and as far North As Bais. I can't wait to do that again, but I'll have to build up to it., not cycling much here in Nashville.

@@billyjohnson9166 I understand the peace of mind that happens at the ocean 🌊 I’ve stayed in duma before but for the Philippines the prices are too high you can find good beach front areas a lot cheaper so you can have peace of mind and save money too

Not for Negros Oriental! You have to realize, that in my opinion….Dumaguete has the highest concentration of expats…specifically Americans in the Philippines PER CAPITA. No doubt about it, Americans drive prices up because we are used to paying 2-5X the prices in the US

@@billyjohnson9166 I live in a much nicer Condo complex in the Philippines with a lot more amenities for half the price only thing missing is the beach and having said that I could even live in a cheaper condo on the beach for a lot less then this place in duma
