Awesome AutoCross Beast that is the Inspriration for Letty's C2 Corvette Stingray

In this episode we take a look at a Letty's C2 Corvette Stingray from Fate of the Furious and the car it was based on.
Like a lot of cars in the Fast and Furious Universe, inspiration for Letty's Corvette came from a real life car.
In this case it is an autocross car that has been raced competitively since the mid 60's and as such has been modified to maximise its speed and cornering ability and coincidentally made it look amazing.

For me there is so much emotion flowing through my veins for the C2. Just looking at those lines and how it sounds give me the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. My Uncle has a 66 that will be mine one day. I've tried to buy it several times, but he too has so much emotion for that car that he cries when he tells the story of how he got it back in 1967. I fear that the only way I'll get that car is when he leaves us. I could never do this to his car but damn, this thing is beautiful.

Wouldn't we all? But the hard part is getting your hands on a C2 you're willing to cut up as well!! If you are seriously trying to hunt them down, I would check with the guy that does the Fast and Furious cars. I think his name is mentioned in the video, I can't remember, I made that one a while ago. If its not there then I know it will be in the Might Car Mods video where they build a Fast and Furious car out of a C4 Corvette. That's where the clip with them is from.

This car is amazing! But don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry's and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec system exhaust

The one with the hood/bonnet up is one of the movie cars, not the real one.

The bodywork on Brian's car is hand built as far as I'm aware, and there were some copies made for the movie. I don't know of anywhere you can buy them, but that doesn't mean you can't.

Any of those would be fun but right now I would love a big auto V8 to put the fam in and just cruise. 'Low and Slow'...That's why you can't just have one car though lol. Different times call for different vehicles.
