@@BH-fx6fp This specific model doesn't have an automatic function, you need to continue pressing the button in order to add more smoke to the atmosphere. There are some others that have an automatic function. I have not tried this model, but it is on amazon and appears to have a timer function. amzn.to/3gT8rsX hope this helps!

I bought the same one. When I press the remote button, it only stays on for about 15 seconds, then it goes off, and I have to sit there and wait for the red light to come back on before I can press the remote for another burst. Is this the way it's gonna be? YOURS stayed on much longer than mine did. I would settle for the length of time yours was on, I understand it has to cool in between intervals. Is something wrong with mine?

No your machine is working good and will last longer. Only 15 secounds you can use it before again get cold, anything more than that is harmfull for the machine and soon will be broken/burned inside.

It uses water-based fog solution, but I don't know if regular water would produce fog. I can't try since i don't have it with me.

On this specific model I don't see a way to turn the lights off. On other models, such as this one kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qqeVdbKHvLa1eKM.html there are no lights if that would suit you better. Thanks for watching!

It did set off my smoke detector when it was too thick. I would suggest removing batteries if you can while using it

not a weird question! The remote has worked fine for me so far. if yours isn't working it might be defective or need a different battery. Also I believe there was a plastic slip that I pulled out so the battery touched the contacts, if you haven't pulled it out yet that might be the solution.

Sorry for the late reply I was out of service last week. I don't dilute the fog juice I use, although if you wanted a less permeating fog I suppose you could. If you buy it I would just try it out, especially with a water-based fog juice you should just be able to mix water in to dilute it. I'm not 100% on this, though I am certain the juice linked below doesn't need to be diluted. Thanks for watching! :)

It is a water-based (but water not the only ingredient) fog machine, but using just water likely won't work. according to an article I found on popular mechanic, using "one part glycerin to three parts distilled water" should allow you to make suitable fog juice at home. I don't think it will harm the device, seeing as fog juice used in it is water-based, but if anything only tries distilled water. Sorry for the delayed response, I hope this helps!

Hey Frankie, thanks for the question! I would have to try tomorrow without the remote plugged in and see if it would engage without it. I don't see any way button to engage the smoke, just the power switch. I'll try it tomorrow and let you know. Alternatively, you could risk something like this www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Remote-Controller-Receiver-Replacement-for-400-900W-Fog-Smoke-Machine/113667523430?hash=item1a771cc366:g:MgEAAOSwqY5fcA3h that might work. I'm not sure, and the price might not be worth it. I haven't tried a third party remote with this machine, though the plug appears to match. I'll let you know if I can get it to engage without the remote tomorrow. A side note, if you do decide to try that remote on ebay, it matches the 315mhz signal that the easife machine has and they both look like a 3 pin connector.

hm as an alternate answer, if you mean put water into the tank it probably wouldn't work very well, but it does use water-based fog liquids to make the fog. one part glycerin to three parts distilled water according to google. So while just putting water in the tank might not be the best, you can find a way to make fog juice without buying it. I think I may have misunderstood your original question :)

I bought this machine some few days ago. I just used it for about 10 minute and it's stop working. When press the unlock bottle on the remote, the red light on the manual control just click and click it doesn't put out smoke. Any solution for that? I'll really appreciate it

I haven't had that heppen to me, but these machines can get overheated if you let it spray for too long. Try letting it cool down and see if that helps? Also check the fluid. Hope this helps :)

I have haze in a can, and I still prefer it for product photography to be completely honest. The fog machine is excessive for that instance. For creating atmosphere in a room or building I'd say the fog machine is probably a better bet.

It's not recommended to inhale large amounts of the fog intentionally, but it is not toxic if you do. The fog in these machines is designed to be used around people :)
