I bought one of these for my daughter today. It is way better than I expected. The proportional speed control and steering was a nice surprise at this price point. Totally awesome and she loves it. (might buy a second one for myself)

I bought this based on your video and it is worth the price of admission! I have added a crew and have some LED’s coming for it. I added 3 1oz weights to the nose which helps it’s traction and keeps the nose down better.

I got mine a week ago and I absolutely love it. I have the dark gray one. I put some lead shot inside the front and it works much better. I put an all in one fpv cam on the front rollbar and use it with my goggles.

Back in the day, I had a personal track vehicle called a Cushman Trackster and this cool little rig demonstrates why they quit making it and everyone has 4 wheeler's instead of tracked rigs.. they will keep climbing until they tip over (in the case of the Trackster..on the occupants) I loved mine and only sold it when the tracks needed to be replaced. I've been watching this cool little guy for a while. Thanks so much for reviewing it!

THAT'S COOL! I love THAT! I would love to modify that and make it more lagetament as a real RC hobby grade vehicle. I would add more LED's and make it more of what it could be. Right now I have a hobby room to build. Never mind... I might leave it the way it is. What a cool unit.

I do like this ripsaw. Looks good and performs ok. A little slow but fun if you've seen my sand run of this tank! Needs some weight up front to climb better. Another good vid from the Saylors!

This reminds me of the old Tyco RC Fast Traxx from the early 90's. Though the bouncing can be taken care of by add a couple ounces of weight onto the bumper or in the nose. That will help keep the tracks on the ground when it goes over obstacles. Still this is a cool tracked vehicle.

I got one of these today and I love it. The controls are great, it was bigger than I thought it would be and build quality is great. Still yet to give it a proper run though. Only bad things I would say is you might want a second battery and faster battery charger and its abit loud but oh well, great for a wide range of ages. Good fun, would really reccomend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The wife brought me one of these so here I am 🤣 as a rc geek and tech head I came to makesure she made the right choice...I have the henlong tanks so thought there is no way it could compare and I can clearly see as its proportional it'll be a close contender for crawling slow...even better also as it has the extra speed ! I'm planning on making it a recovery vehicle for my rc trucks👍 winch chains and maybe some nose weight as I hear its light..great vid guys appreciate the info

Neat tank. Try going up the hill backwards, I learned that trick many years ago when real vehicles had a hard time going up hill. For some reason going backwards made the difference. Lol. Happy Tanking

I have been considering this beastie, but waiting until I saw some reviews. It does need a bit of front weight is the general consensus. But I was looking at the bang good link, and there is a version that has *metal* tracks, in addition to the rubber ones! I think I am going to order one with the metal tracks at the end of the week! Looks like fun, based upon your example. I wonder how well it will do in the snow...not that we have snow here...yet. :-) OMGs! This is an actual model of a *real* tank!! The Howe & Howe Technologies EV2 Ripsaw Super tank is a real vehicle with 700 hp...and they have a newer version that as 1500 hp! You have to look up the video of the EV2 drifting on a frozen lake!!!

This thing is screaming for one of those police flashing light bars, in its size of course, to be put on top, plus add some more lights in the front where it has those bumper lenses. I also was thinking you should try to go up the hill backwards, right before you made it. I could see cracking this open and adding a roll or two of pennies to the front to add front end weight and it becoming a great crawler. Also i saw on banggood they now have a version that comes with metal and rubber tracks for a little more

Maybe they call it a "drifter" because the teeth on the treads are pretty shallow..? This 'tank' has a TON of potential especially if it is possible to maybe change out the shocks with oil filled after-market shocks and of course change out the tank treads. Getting some actual steel treads would be interesting IF possible. Can you give me/us some insight on how "upgradeable" this tank may be..? Thanks Saylors for all you do!! Take care, Dave

There is also a version that comes with both Metal and Rubber Treads for about $24.00 more. Type in SG 1203 in search box and both versions will pop up. I have one on the way, cool vehicle.

I decided to get one of these the night you did the preview of all of this week's stuff. I waited to see y'all's video, but now I've ordered one. I had watched a video, but it didn't convince of the crawl ability. I was still going to buy one. It's just too cool not to have one. Also: I think I'll use hatch tape on that compartment cover. Seems to me from the videos that this should make it dang near waterproof.

You need to see if you can get metal tank treads for more weight to keep the front end down an give it more power to carry the extra weight and secretly put more power in that 21$ vw and surprise Abby. And get a Tamiya lol.

The ripsaw is a super cool build in the 1 to 1 version, it would be really nice if they built a hobby grade version that didn't cost $1000 something between the $60 toy and the $1000 kit would be cool. A nice $400 tank would be perfect

@@ethanloughlin9052 You are better off starting with a Bang good robotic tank chassis and going from there. There are 4 or 5 decent tracked vehicles that I assume are intended for science projects and stuff like that period that will be a better start for you then a $60 toy

Definitely has the cool factor. Did pretty good on the hill. I like it. A little weight in the cab,or on the hood might help with the over loaded behind. I wonder if they sell more grabby tracks. Good review it looks fun. ⚓⚓👍👍⚓⚓.

Yep it's great they should make a pro version this or do redesign don't like bottom bay battery. Make it less plastic or make all metal version. Front weight just say they don't make enough of these and they don't make racing tanks its a real shame. Tank's alot Nate and Abby.🤣👍

Not really my thing but wow, this is impressive--no idea how they do it for the price! 😲 I might have to order one, a bit of variety and all that... 🤣 A couple of questions sprung to mind; it looks fairly tough, maybe good for kiddies/beginners? Does it have dual rates? Update: this review popped up on my playlist again and halfway through I was convinced, I had to click that button! Seemed like a good time to buy, even with the sales coming up, I got mine for £38.19 ($49.11) with a voucher.

I bought one of these for my son because he saw your video and had to have one. I’m also getting a few other vehicles for the kids that have these li-ion packs in them. Do you ever run lipo batteries in the li-ion vehicles you own? Do you know if they have the correct LVC or do you just put the lipo alarm you recommend on them? Thanks for the entertaining, informative and kid friendly videos.

It’s cheap enough to do a brushless upgrade. Extremely impressed with its out of the box performance on The Hill. Maybe a little front weight ballast...

I bought this one and the 1/18th crawler and the 1/12 yellow truck too but i reckon if the motors were in the front it would drive completly different so you know what im off to do when i get mine lol
