When I lived in camp verde this was the place to take all your out of town visitors, it was also much better to go in the cooler months due to lack of shade structures. Also if you can, it’s better to actually walk the way back down instead of taking the shuttle. I would take the shuttle to the top for the tiger splash shows but then walk back down the hill. You got to see the animals closer and could take more time getting that better picture. Also when it’s less busy the animals may come closer to the fence to say hello.
