We have really been enjoying waking up early and diving before the stores open - it's been paying off and today was no different! I love the candles we found and am excited to have some new makeup as well - finding a box of sealed cosmetics was crazy! That's never happened before :o

It just hit me why else I love watching you and Alex dumpster Diving together - you 2 are not just married but I get this best friend vibe. You laugh together, you don’t get snippy at each other, and you’re both so laid back and chill - especially with each other. You guys are so unpretentious and just fun and yet your old fashioned in your own way with Alice and let live attitude……always take care of you!!!

Just a heads up, when you get a BBW dumpster you need to go through ALL the clear HEAVY bags. There is a TON of products in those bags at the very bottom. I saw you toss around heavy bottomed bags and I’m like NO NO NO GO BACK !!!!! Lol !!!

If you place the candles in the freezer you can pull out the whole candle without any problems. Nice save, stay safe glad you both are diving together.

Omg he was so cute when he found the bath and body works bags. He was so proud and had to show you before he put them in your truck. Your husband knows your channel and loves you. I saw true love when he brought the bags over to show you. It was just so freaking adorable!!! … plus, he looks hot since the haircut👍 👍👍👍👍👍

Hi Kelly, I've raised chickens for years, and there's a very easy way to tell if eggs are still edible. Just put them in a bowl of water. Any bad eggs will rise to the top, throw those away. Ones that all the way on the bottom are quite fresh. And if they are floating a 1/2 inch or so off the bottom of the bowl, they are the perfect age for boiled eggs that the shells will come right off of without a battle. Keep in mind that the first egg layed by a hen when she first hides her nest will be about two weeks old when she decides to set and hatch chicks. So the first egg is that old and it'll still produce a live chick.

You can cut the candle wax up and put them in wax burners to use that way too

I love seeing you two together out there. One big thing, please please don’t spray anything you put into the pantries. People may not think about it and just drink from the glass or cans. The disinfecting sprays are so toxic to the human body. It can make someone very sick. If you don’t have a chance to rinse them off, then just put a note next to them. Anything around or touching them in the pantry will get it on them, too. Keep up the great work! It’s a wonderful thing to do. ❤️

I love that you kept the apple with the hole. You just cut it off and it’s fine. You all know our apples get brown spots waiting to be eaten at home too. 😊

I've seen other divers get a lot of stuff out of the dollar stores and CVS. You might want to check them out more often.

Hi Kelly, your apples should stay fresh a couple days just on the counter. It is one of the most durable fruits. .But if longer than 2 days, you can pop in the fridge, as long as not bruised and they can last up to a month! I wouldn't store bruised fruit. And caution when announcing plans online, should always be after, not before :-). Nice find on the candles! Yes I love to take candles shave them down using a food grater, melt them and then pour into new containers with the stems I buy from craft stores. I use them and give as gifts too. Have fun!

Put the broken glass candles in the freezer for 10+ minutes, and the glass will come off much easier. I read it on another dumpster channel, and it does work. Your yard is looking great, and you have done it all yourselves!

Dumpster vegetables and fruits could be used as compose, if you want to grow your own vegetables. Not great for eating but amazing for your compose to put nutrients back into your soil.

You should always take the soup bags of makeup because they usually only empty 1 bottle and dump it over everything but the rest just needs to be cleaned up and is usually in good condition.

Broken candles always mean scented wax melts for me! Remove the glass, grab a knife & slice off a chunk & put in in the candle warmer! No fire hazard & it always smells great!

Breafkast, Your garden is really takeing form and getting to be cool and usefull and you can sit out at night when it's summertime under a huge parasol/umbrella and enjoy family and friends while barbecuing. 😃😃👏🙏🏻❤ It is gonna be cool once it is done . Maybe some big green plants in pots to put there to make it cozy and some shade perhaps 😃🤔 Just an idea 😬😉

I've been putting in new garden beds, and finding good large cardboard boxes is my favorite thing right now! It gets cleaned up (removing all the plastic tape and metal staples), flattened out, then laid over the grass and weeds to smother them. They break down over time and improve the native soil. Cover the cardboard with compost and soil from old plant pots, some leaves and bark chips, a handful of organic fertilizer if I have it. Ta-Dah! New garden bed! Shredded cardboard even makes a decent biodegradable mulch to conserve moisture and inhibit weeds. With food prices the way they are now (and signs pointing to significant future shortages/inflation) it seems like that cardboard might soon be worth more than anything else you find in the dumpsters. Well, except maybe the produce as chicken feed.

Night diving always seems a bit sketchy to me. Plus I am blind as a bat during the day - at night it would be crazy. Early morning seems like a good be between. You had some solid finds. Keep after them. Happy hunting.

Eggs can be held at room temperature for several days and a super simple and quick way to tell if they’re still good is to place them in enough water to cover them. If they float they’re bad. If they don’t they’re still good.

great candle finds! I'm really enjoying this new-to-me dumpster-diving although i'm not going to stores as not sure if diving in their bins is legal here in UK. But latest find is a gorgeous big rug which will go great in my newly-decorated home-office; also set of crockery which i have donated.

In Australia we get 10cents a cans and drink bottles. We collect them and the kids share the money between them. We usually get $300-$400 per year.love watching your channel.
