Күн бұрынAn awesome 'rumbler like' siren known as a 'howler' features with a City of London Police BMW 5 series, as well as various other police cars, ambulances, fire engines and emergency vehicles responding with siren and lights in the UK and Brussels, Belgium.
The Raptor units work to target violent criminals using vehicles to commit crimes and often travel in packs. They are specialised in Tactical Pursuit And Containment (TPAC), the method of using multiple units to surround and contain a suspect vehicle - sometimes pre-emptively.

Love those police cars with rumblers! They use 200 watt RSG sirens which have a low frequency siren speaker attached to it alongside the regular speaker

Cyclist has a whole cycle lane yet still hogs the cars behind him :') Nice catches and I like the hi-lo with the howler/rumbler activated!

Not a Banshee, that's a separate amplifier. This is just a low frequency speaker working on the RSG siren.

Not any that I know of but I wouldn't be too surprised if we heard it on some officer's take home cars. In terms of fire appliances? Maybe one day in the future?

Met Traffic 5 series estate is petrol 530 not 530d if you reg check... guess Met dropping diesels because of diesel smog

Yeah.. there's a mix of diesels and petrols for the new 530s. IRVs have all gone to petrol and there are a fair few electric or hybrid pool cars.

The ambulances are kitted by a company in co.offaly, and I don’t know where the police cars are kitted but I’ve seen trucks carrying them on irish motorways near Dublin

As i understand, yellow-blue chess-squares are police, yellow-green ones are ambulance. Firefighters are red trucks. Yes?

@@JimLem yes, it was the most clear thing: yellow-red squares on firefighter-cars. Red colour is the most used for FF cars and trucks all over the world. Thanks.

The 'chess-squares' are called battenburg markings, by the way. They're named after battenberg cake, which has the same pattern.
