I still use the VM-10II from Comica and it has been fantastic for the price. No batteries required, just plug in and shoot. Of course the audio Quality isn't top notch but perfectly fine for vlogging or recording ambient audio.

The noise reduction on this mic is actually good. I recommend testing it gor those new to recording audio.

I'm going to come straight out and say how much I appreciate the changing of the location with every new section of the video. A lot of people don't put that level of dedication into keeping an audience engaged and I admire it.

Hey thanks! I shot all this on the Olympus E-m1 MK II and some B-roll shots were with the E-m10 II

Does the safety track continously record while the signal cut between reciever and transmitter? Or this is just a lower volume record? I need that kind of safety track/backup record feature which is save the sound while cut the signal for a moment.

Hi great video, always sharing useful content. Had a question, can you share your opinion on choosing Olympus Em1-Mark II over Sony ZV-E10? (asking because I think you are making your videos using Olympus EM1 mark II...

yeah I haven't used the ZV-e10 myself but both are great options, I think the image stabilization will be better on the Olympus though

Which would you choose between the Vimo C3 kit and BoomX D2? Despite BoomX D2 is older, it's still more expensive...

Well if you need to connect a lav mic then I'd get the Boomx-D pro d2, if you are ok with only being able to use the mics on the transmitters then these Vimo mics are really good!

Let's say appearance doesn't count and talk just about sound quality. In your opinion putting Vimo mics in the same usual position of lavalier mics (on your T-shirt, as you did in your video) sorts a higher or lower sound quality if compared with Boomx-D pro d2's lavalier mics put in the same position?

@@codisilver l would say it's about the same sound quality, maybe a slight edge to the Vimo system cause I like the sound out of those mics a little more than the lav mics on the boomx-d pro system. But the thing is you can always buy better quality lav mics and use them on the boomx-d pro, whereas that's not an option with the Vimo

I got VM10ii, not PRO version, for my em1 mk2 and I have noise problems. Audio is cleaner, but the noise I'm getting is anoying and disturbing. Any advice? Maybe in recording settings.

@NigelBarros its not that bad. You can barely see the mic in the shots. That's the best part. The receiver also holds the microphones too

Is the vm10 pro powered? So I can avoid the pre amp his of the EM1 mk 2?

No I mention toward the end that its not, but theres not very much self self noise with the Vm10 pro (or any of the vm10 models to be honest) every time I'm not using the wireless mic outdoors in this video, I using the vm10 pro plugged directly into my E-m1 MK II, so that can give you an idea of how it sounds
