Why don't you use a lux meter in your videos? It'd really help to confirm or debunk the often exaggerated claims by these manufacturers/sellers regarding the brightness of their bulbs.

MisledDan It’s because he knows that if he does it’ll show that every single one of these LED manufacturers and I’m using manufacture term loosely because they’re all the exact same crap with different box or color The statement of 10,000 Lumens are outright lies and base on lab numbers, if they are using a total of 10 LED chip that are capable of max 300 lumen per chip then they will say it’s a 3000 Lumen bulb but no LED that powerful can run at 100% for any length of time Honestly this guy, the way he pushes these dangerous crap and making people believe that these LED head light are amazing are putting people in danger.

TBH, ericthecarguy made two very good videos measuring halogens, led and xenon in a mostly cientific way, both in reflector and projector housings on the same Honda Element. He pretty much shows that LED light up a tad more than halogens but xenons still reign supreme

Unfortunately especially the case in dual/triple colour headlights. I bought some myself and they advertised at 9000 or 10,000 lumens, but they're simply not as bright as when compared against a single colour LED headlight. They look fine in the dark with no other light around, much like in Kleantrix's garage - but go outside with other sources of light around and you'll sometimes wonder if they're even on.

William S. Did you need to buy a resistor to maintain the electric current on your RAM. I have HIDs on my RAM and it needed a separate resistor to keep a steady flow of electricity to the lights. I’m thinking of going to LEDs.

Bought these today and I’m a bit upset that you didn’t point out the yellow throws a different angle! Other than that they are perfect in my Ram 1500, the yellow destroys the dark and illuminates everything in sight. Thanks for the saving code, thanks for the video, just thank you.

i have a 2017 chevy colorado with aftermarket h7 projector headlights. What do you suggest as best led bulb to use, i like 6000k and currently using auxbeam fs3 series, but the color has faded more yellow on the road. alot of people recommended me to new gtr lighting gen 5 hids that are $300, but they use a ton of power.

in order for fog lights to actually be useful and help you see in the fog they must be between 18 to 24 inches oft the ground other wise they are just for looks and nothing more

6000 k has hint of blue. Want white? 5000 k to 5500 k. Best lights I ever used, HID 4300 k, Osram nightbreakers d2s bulb. Have OEM LED in Subaru Crosstrek and HID offers better light output.

What do u do if u buy lights and then sockets have the + and - backwards? I bought the hi beams u recommended for the accord n when i tried to put them on they were reversed from what my car had stock. I flipped them upside down n plugged them in n they work but its not right... how do u fix that?

Yash Patel leds will not project light good at all on reflector headlights. Hids are what you want for reflectors lenses. Trust me ive tried it all

Yash Patel Yeah bro I agree with him 100% if you have reflector housings HID is what you want cuz it will follow the same light pattern as halogens bulbs, just brighter and more intense. Sucks cuz LEDs are easy as hell

depends on the led you get some works for projector housing and some works with reflector housing you can find led bulbs that have the same pattern as a halogen bulb using hid in a reflector housing i would say no good chance you could melt your housing and the wiring on your vehicle

Just as a note on your Genesis I personally wouldn't recommend you changing anything having to do with the low beam bulbs the high beams you might be able to do but the low beams stay away from because the Genesis automatically is going to come with the dynamic bending lights so your headlamps actually move as you turn the steering wheel to illuminate bending roads in front of you, and if you install a bulb that's bigger than the standard HID bulb or LED bulb because that's all that's going to be in your car you could potentially cause it to collide with something. If you have the led system you can't change anything anyway but it's something to keep in mind.

nikkodogz yeah 150$ for high quality LEDs , i rather get that .. I promise if I have set of diode dynamics & you have some eBay product you will instantly notice the difference between the two , at least at night ppl won’t know it’s cheap quality LEDs cause I can tell half of the time .. dynamics has the same cutoff line as stock halogen, eBay products lights are scattered

I figure it out. It will reset back to default white after a few second. If you turn on fog and take out key and turn it back on, it will switch color but If you turn off car and wait a few second the led will reset it back to the default White
