I loved the 'plate' decor, you did an amazing job transforming them into beautiful decor. Its really hard to pick a favorite, they all turned out great. I live in Oklahoma and was in 1 of my local Walmart stores clearance section and they have the 16oz. bottles of Waverly chalk paint on clearance so if anyone is running low, now is the time to stock up. I got a bottle of the clear wax for $7 (was12.47) and i believe the colors were $8- crimsom,ink etc.

Thank you😊 for showing us crafts that are made inexpensive, I remember when we were a young milk couple with kids and I used paint by number and coloring pages to decorate my kids rooms and painted recycled butter bowls for kitchen decor because we couldn’t afford to purchase things like that. You are so cheerful it makes everyone feel better! ❤

Hey sweet friend! Of course & I'm sorry! I will practice on slowing down for you all. I just get so excited when I press the record button. 🤣🤣🤣 I used the mini foam plate aka dessert plates, the wall decals, silver marlin paint by folkart, antique rub 'n' buff. I gave the plates 2 coats of paint, sealed it with mod podge, distressed it with the rub n buff, and added the decal. For the base... I used some unfinished rainbow shape wood pieces I got in a pack from hobby lobby but you can use tower tumbling blocks as an alternative. Let me know if you need more details. 🦋❤️🥰🌷

Hi May girl your foam plates came out so beautiful great idea. I love them all. My favorite is the one with the blue flowers you know I'm a sucker for blue. Mae these plates are very pretty! Who would've thought. Maybe just me but I didn't get a Christmas vibe. I think the only thing I would do differently is paint the word family maybe a medium brown. I love these!

N.Y. has banned foam dish ware of any kind. I do want to try the last project, so I guess I will have to try it with a plastic plate. I'm really surprised that California didn't beat us to this ban. They usually do. They all look pretty!

Oh wow! I know there was talk of it in some cities but not sure about statewide. I'm thinking you could probably do it with actual paper plates & kind of do a play on paper mache. I'm so glad you enjoyed them & I know project will turn out beautifully! 🦋❤️🥰🌷

Hey, the dollar tree also has in the party section plastic plates they're kinda thin they come in an 8 pk, I believe those may have held the weight better.
