That Ellie dog of mine sure put a lot of smiles on hunters faces over the last few years.. and we were really looking forward to doing that tracking video with you but as you know these woods and swamps here in Florida gas danger at every step and we as trackers. With the Florida bloodtrailing network know the dangers we put ourselves and our dogs in everytime we drop the tailgate to help recover a fellow hunter/huntresses lost game but we wouldn’t have it any other way... but I wouldn’t have wanted her to go any other way. She went out doing what she loved and that was tracking deer. .............Fb has me locked out for 30 days so I can’t share this video right now but I have my wife doing it on her page ... keep the videos coming bud..

Helpful hint- attach a dock cleat to your camp hoisting tree. It makes securing your rope and gambrel much easier, especially if you’re solo. Rob, you are an inspiration! Keep up the awesomeness!

Hey Robert....gonna add this advice for other hunters and trackers if you don't mind. MSM Methylsulfonylmethane is something that I have used for years to treat snake bit dogs. I have saved probably around 20 plus dogs over the last 25 years including most everyone of my own dogs. Mix 1 tablespoon of MSM (5000 units) of powder into a small glass 6 oz of water and get them to drink it before they get too sick. Also give them some Benadryl if you have it. I learned this from an old Oriental lady that owned an herbal store many years ago and shared it with Maynard Cox (the snake man) too. Not sure how or why it works but it has saved every dog I have treated with it, some that were bit by sizable Moccasins. You can get this product at pretty much any herbal/vitamin store but make sure you get the 5000 per dose powder. You cannot over dose your dog since their body will throw off, dispose of what it doesn't need or use. You can pay a vet about $400 to $600 for an antivenom shot but if its over 2 hours after the bite...the antivenom shot is pretty much worthless. Just sharing "the love" brother!
