Liam and headed from the Porcupine Campground to Allenby Junction Campground through Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park. Upon discovery of the grim condition of the tent pads at Allenby, we chose to continue to Big Springs making the day our longest of the whole trip. 26.4km. 44,434 steps. 2200 calorie dinner. It was a big and epic day. It was also our first opportunity to swim in the ten days we had been on the trail. Our big day today meant we could have another rest day tomorrow which was very much needed after all those steps.
